The classic cuisines of Italian trattoria and Spanish tapas are on full display, using recipes from our family’s four generation heritage in the butcher industry, as well as our memorable travels across Europe and South America. The USDA Prime steaks that we showcase at Domanico’s are raised on the Great Plains of the American Midwest, then aged and hand-cut by our experienced butchers before each cut is broiled with our signature seasoning blend. Globally-inspired wines uphold the appeal of small vintage winemaking; in addition to our professional menu of fine cocktails, spirits and beers. Located on Northwest Hwy (Route 14) between Barrington and Fox River Grove, join us at Domanico’s Steakhouse for your next dinner out on the town.

If you appreciate quality of ingredients and development of flavors then Domanico’s will be your new favorite place. My husband and I ordered 2 Cold Tapas, 2 Hot Tapas, an excellent bottle of wine (suggested by Nick) and a slice of Lemon Cake from Ambrosia (Hooray for Local supporting Local!) Pictured are the Mediterranean Sausage and Beans and the Veal Short Ribs. Both dishes were excellent, and the sausage is handmade in house. We will be back to try the steaks, they looked very impressive coming out of the kitchen. Overall the food was prompt, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was hip but not stuffy.
Domanico’s has a large bar which would be perfect for happy hour with a glass of wine and charcuterie board (see, I’m already planning my next trip). Reservations strongly advised. I highly recommend Domanico’s.

My husband and I had dinner here this past Saturday night for our anniversary. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer. I ordered the Pan Fried Walleye and my husband ordered the USDA Prime Boneless Ribeye; everything was absolutely delicious! The Bordelaise sauce served with the steak was so flavorful! You can tell everything we ate was carefully made in their kitchen. I had a glass of wine and my husband ordered a martini; both drinks were great as well! Best food we’ve had served up in a long time. You can tell all the food is high quality and fresh. This place checked all the boxes: Great Service, Delicious Food, and a Relaxed Ambience. We definitely felt like we were appreciated as customers and everyone was very attentive! Finally, a place we can look forward to returning to! Next time, we’ll be bringing friends and family. Thank you for a great dinner!

This is a fantastic restaurant.
Plenty of parking and a nice interior design with different sections of seating.
Very deep menu with lots of options and the steak that I had was PERFECTLY cooked to my specifications. Service was great and very attentive.
The owner and his son were on the floor bussing tables and talking to customers. John gave a great explanation of a signature dessert he made that we had and Nick knew his wines and pulled out an incredible bottle to pair with our dinner.
Tremendous place, I can’t wait to go back.

We arrived without any reservations and the host was very accommodating. She sat us at the bar where we met Sam, who created a delicious mock-tail for me with a non-alcoholic spirit. She definitely showed enthusiasm and passion for her job. We were able to quickly get a table in the dining room due to a reservation not showing up. We had a really nice waitress named Stephanie. She was able to recommend many great options from the menu. Stephanie was quick and knowledgeable and was a fantastic waitress. I decided on the salmon platter. The mashed potatoes are the best I’ve ever had and the vegetables were amazing. They have a great selection of wines and the owner was there walking around to serve the tables and share his knowledge of the type of wine ordered. All in all, it was a great experience and we will be back. It was great seeing passionate staff who offer exceptional service.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was expensive for what it was, but the menu was clearly curated with care. My ribeye was on the sinewy side and the roast vegetables were a bit overdone. Not a bad cut of meat, but for the price it felt lacking.
My wife and I will definitely be back occasionally. I look forward to seeing how the menu and the quality of the cuisine evolve as they find their footing.

This place is awesome! We know Nick and his son from when they had the tapas place in Cary. The service here was amazing and the food was excellent. We will be going back soon. The dining area is very nice and comfy. The bar is a great size too. We got the ribeye and lamb chops! Both were cooked to where we wanted them (which they asked us). Nick came over and gave us a few bottles of wine to choose from and let me tell you. The one we chose from
His selection was Amazing! Check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. If you like wine make sure you chat with Nick! We will be back soon. Glad your back.

Really delicious food and a well curated wine list. You can bring your own bottle for a corkage fee. I’ve gone a few times and each time the hospitality has been first class.
Great weekend date spot- but don’t sleep on the weekday burger special T/W/Th. $8 for what might be the best burger in town.

I’ve eaten here three times since they opened and I know I will be back many more times. Excellent food, Nick is super knowledgeable about their excellent wine selection. Great ribs, tapas, cocktails and wine. The word on the street is soon special wine dinners will be starting and I know from their previous restaurant that these will be excellent. This place had a great vibe and decor too!

A total gem! Our server Kim was so attentive and made wonderful recommendations. The menu has a little bit of everything. The scallops with Orange sauce were amazing! The steak was equally as amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Ordered a USDA Prime Boneless Ribeye which was NOT USDA Prime. It was more like a steak from Ponderosa, but with a $55 price tag. Everyone else loved what they ordered. Not me. I asked the waitress if she was sure my steak was a Prime cut, she didn’t know what that meant. : | She said she’d check with the kitchen because she wanted to know, but never came back with an answer.
We had just visited Morton’s last weekend, and spent the same amount of money. My advice is, go with a place that actually serves the USDA grade they put on the menu. This place isn’t it. An honest review. Take it or leave it, but don’t say you weren’t warned.
