Domain South is absolutely one of my favorite spots in Huntsville. It’s tucked away and so cute on the inside the decor and atmosphere are welcoming and warm. There’s a bar area and an outside dining area. It’s great in the summer. I typically sit at the bar, the bartenders are always warm and engaging and full of conversation if you so desire, the charcuterie boards are top notch. The duck is an absolute must. It’s my favorite. The cheese selection is fantastic and the wine is always great. We also started with oysters and they were phenomenal!!!! They also serve a mulled house wine and eggnog in the winter- you should try them. The charcuterie board was so large of a helping that we only got one entrée to share. The entrée we selected was the salmon with the gnocchi. It was tad saltier than I prefer, but my friend loved it. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly.
The only reason I didn’t give an additional star on atmosphere was because of a crying baby the entire visit. Typically, I try not to complain about those things because the restaurant can’t control it but goodness it was a lot to listen to.

This place was absolutely amazing!!! My husband and i went here for our 10 year anniversary. The food was so good. The guy who waited on us recommended things for us because we really didn’t know much about the place other than they had charcuterie boards. Let me tell you that was THE BEST charcuterie board we’ve ever had! We plan on coming back soon for another visit. I highly recommend getting the turkey sandwich it’s massive, along with the duck fat fries. I also recommend getting duck breast meat on the charcuterie board. Literally everything was so freaking good!!!
We parked in the parking garage on Clinton Ave and walked around the corner to the place it’s located by the blue strains inside of the double doors. Kinda confusing if you’ve never been to this area before. We called the restaurant to ask where to park and they were more than helpful. Everyone here is truly amazing and very nice.

Domaine South is a must try, whether hanging with friends or a date night, give this gem a chance, it doesn’t disappoint. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Jason offered superb knowledge of the massive wine selection. Full bar available for the cocktail lovers. The food was next level. Build your own charcuterie board, made to order burger, or should be illegal to serve it’s so good whipped feta are a few favorites. Highly recommend reservations.

I have never written a review on here before now; however, Domaine South is beyond worthy of an exception. Domaine South is without a doubt the best restaurant in Huntsville, one of the best in the region, and a very special place to my wife and me.
For lunch and dinner, I probably have been to Domaine South around 25+ times now (mostly dinner). For each one of these visits, they have always exceeded my expectations and been beyond worth it every single time. The food is amazing (especially the classic French dishes like Coq au Vin and Beef Bourguignon). It’s always so much fresher than other restaurants in the area, and it’s awesome that they consistently change the menu. You always get to experience something great and new every visit. Likewise, they always have great cocktails, wine, and dessert choices. And of course – you have to get the duck fat frites. So good! And to top it off – the staff, managers, and the owner are all exceptional and courteous. Every waiter and waitress I have had has been top notch. It truly is a place that I always look forward to going to, and it’s the best place in town for a date night or to catch up with some friends.
As an event space, I cannot emphasize enough how great of a job Domaine did for my wedding. We rented out the entire restaurant for a 60 person wedding. Over the course of a year, the manager Harold met with us and our wedding planner multiple times and responded to each of our many emails to work out our requests. On the evening of the wedding, when we arrived and saw what all had been done, my worries about everything was put at ease. Throughout the night and the days since, I have gotten so many compliments about the food, charcuterie, and drinks at our wedding. Most of all – everyone talked about how amazing the staff was. The waiters, waitresses, bartenders, managers, and the owner that worked the wedding were so kind, prompt, and professional. It elevated the whole experience. I was told by many family and friends that it was the one of best and most unique weddings they have ever experienced. Seriously – thank you Domaine for everything!
So – it’s at a cozy, beautiful location with amazing outdoor seating (especially in the fall) and ran by great professionals, and you should give it a try if you have not been or you’re visiting. It’s well worth a visit (and for people like me – a lot of visits). And if you are even thinking about hosting an event here – you should consider it and contact them. My wedding was beyond my wildest expectations, and Domaine was responsible for so much of that. We couldn’t have done it without them.

Typically we do dinner here, which amazing! But finally was able to do lunch, and it was just an amazing as dinner. Highly recommend stopping here for dinner or lunch. If it is nice, they have the best patio over looking the park. They have a great drink selection for everyone.

This place has it all! Atmosphere, great service, great food, and a ginormous wine list – I challenge you to find a more extensive list in town! Fully customizable charcuterie boards, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Amazing entrees and desserts. Can’t think of one bad thing to say other than I wish I could go there every day! They even have three legitimate German Bavarian beers from Munich. Great place for a date or any special occasion, if you haven’t been, make a point to go soon!

100/10 every single time. I was honestly shocked to see that they didn’t have full on 5 ⭐️ reviews, so I went to see why. These people must be miserable. I have half a mind to track each and every one of them down just to challenge their reviews. Mind boggling. The atmosphere, the charm, the views, the ambiance, the service, the vibe – all 10/10 any day of the week…. and the fooood, psssht, get outta here! Hands down the best of the best in town.
