Have the doma Korean BBQ plate and doma bokum udon noodles. Everything was cooked superbly and the flavors were yummy. Meat was tender. Prices were reasonable for the quantity and quality.

As a Korean, I can vouch for how authentic and tasty their food is. We grabbed three dishes; DOMA Dupbab (with beef), DOLSOT Bibimbap (with spicy pork), and Dubujorim.

Recommendations:
DOMA DUPBAP with beef, sweet soy sauce goes well with the rice, and it’s a solid pick if you’re new to Korean food, wants something not too exotic.

⭐️Dolsot bibimbap with spicy pork, this is “really” authentic. No need to trek to DC as this one is better. The meat was already seasoned perfectly, so I’d say hold off on dumping all the extra sauce on it right away. Taste it first.

We thought this place was pretty good. Nothing we got was amazing, but still yummy if you’re in the mood for some Korean. They have a large menu so we’ll try different things next time. Our food came quickly and the staff were friendly.

Good location and wait staff are friendly. We came every week when the restaurant first opened a few years ago when food was better then. However, we were extremely disappointed with appetizers we ordered (particularly dumplings and fried squids) in recent few visits. The main dish my husband ordered was okay. Probably will not be back for a while.

We ordered the spicy stir fried squid and dolsot bibimbop- both were very good. Clean and comfy atmosphere. I would only recommend adding other common Korean menu items such as bone soup, rice cake soup, and yukejang (spicy beef and veg soup) which I think have value at a Korean restaurant.

I ordered the Kimchi-jjigae. It was the so tasty. We also had some of their chicken wings and mandu.
We have previously had their japchae and bibimbap and it was delicious as well!

I have yet to try something unpleasant from Doma’s.

This has been one of my favorite dinning experiences! The friends you bring along the way help many restaurants have fonder memories, and while my company was good the food was truly the star!

I was able to try the Korean BBQ plate with 3 different meats: beef (10/10), spicy chicken (9/10), and pork belly (11/10). They smacked so hard!!! Also, their pickled vegetables were amazing and so nice in addition to the meat and rice (cooked perfectly by the way). And their spicy kimchi was great as well, definitely carrying a kick of heat. I also got to try their wings…perfection!

I’d highly recommend this place! The pricing was fair too for what you are getting, not cheap, but also it’s not a cheap dish. I’d say get the beef bbq plate if your afraid of being adventurous, it’s great and was loved by everyone at our table. If ya want a bolder flavor tho, the pork belly is where it’s at!

P.S. the bathrooms were nice and clean too!

We were excited to come to a Korean restaurant because we don’t have one in our town and we were not disappointed. It was busy for a Friday night, but there were seats and our food came quickly. We ordered the homemade sodas, the Chicken Wings (Korean Hot), the Tteokkochi (Honey Sriracha), Soondubu Jjigae, and the Doma Bokum Udon.

The homemade sodas were good and taste like whatever flavor you get, but you will need to make sure to mix it well and keep the straw from bottom or you’ll just get syrup. Both appetizers were flavorful, but if you don’t like spice, I wouldn’t get the Honey Sriracha because we found it spicier than the Korean Hot flavor. The Doma had a sweet sauce, good grill on chicken, and the noodles were filling.

Overall, our waitress was attentive but not overbearing and we were pleased with our meal. I recommend giving it a try if you’re in Charlottesville!

This place has such good korean food and for such a good price. I ordered the spicy pork bibimbap and it was such a good deal. I was really hungry and the portion was the perfect size and I left very satisfied. It was not overly spicy but just enough to where the spice gave a nice feeling and didn’t make me need to drink water or start sweating. The layout of the restaurant was also very cozy and I loved the format of the kitchen so you could see your food being made. This assured the freshness of my food and it was interesting to see the cooking process behind my food.
