Coming from a Korean, I was extremely disappointeded in the kimchi pajeon which barely had any onions, kimchi and was very thin. It was soooo greasy that I could’ve wiped my hand on the plate and used the grease to lubricate my car. It lacked the chewy crisp texture that good pajeon should have. The banchan and food were presented in a very clean modern way in a very soothing pleasant atmosphere however lacked depth of flavor that real solid Korean food is known for. The bibimbap looked good but again they clearly skipped on ingredients. The flavors were bland and meh. When I asked for extra soy sauce and gochujang I was told it was seasoned. I told him it was under seasoned. He brought me gochujang straight from a container, which a Korean would never do. It would have been worked with seasoning to use. Waiters were polite but reserved and never checked on me. I had to wave them down for service. I should’ve sent back the pajeon and refused to pay but I didn’t. I hope Mason people try Korean food at other restaurants in nearby areas, east and west coasts and find some Korean friends so they can see what real good Korean food tastes like. No one would give you one tiny square of a banchan the size of your finger nail on a plate and not expect to be laughed at. I checked it out in hopes of bringing soon to be visitors there but no way can I.

This is the best Korean food I have ever had. It is very healthy and does not make you feel bloated or sick. I highly recommend coming here and really appreciated the plant-based option. My wife loves Korean food and culture so this was an absolute hit! Authentic and delicious.

Fantastic food! Our party of four really enjoyed our time there: my first Korean food and I wasn’t sure what to get. The waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. I had the mushroom bowl and would definitely get it again! Each of us lived our choices.

Everything was absolutely top tier! The food, the service, the atmosphere, definitely a 10 out of 10. My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight and will 100% be coming back. Compliments to the chefs, our dishes were amazing and tastefully presented.

Wow this place has the most wonderful, flavorful food! My husband can’t help but get the dolsot with beef! The crisp rice is sticky and crunchy! The banchan are always different and always tasty, my favorite this time was bean sprouts with fresh corn, and the pancake. The owner is super kind and genuine and truly loves sharing his culture. The Rhinegeist on tap is a neat feature, too. Thank you!!

Dolsot bistro is simply awesome. The food is delicious. Ambience is really good. And above all, the service is top class. This is the second time that I ate there.
The chef who is the owner too, is excellent. He answers all our questions so patiently. His wife served us both times. They treated us like guests at their home.
