Delicious tender and flavorful chicken and rice! I finally tried Dolly’s when I was in town working at the Revelree Music Festival this past year. Dolly’s food is an absolute sensation to the senses! When I returned home I learned I won the monthly draw for a free family meal which was exciting. I sadly haven’t been in Sarnia since this past summer, or else I would have definitely claimed this incredible prize! I will definitely be making a stop or 2 this coming summer though and plan to bring some of the festival crew. Looking forward to it!

So happy I discovered this fantastic Jamaican restaurant in Sarnia today.
They make their own patties which was the highlight of my meal. The Patty crust was top notch and the filling was seasoned to perfection.
The jerk chicken was nice but the bbq sauce made it better. The rice was soooo good! The only disappointment was they didn’t offer ox tail gravy for the rice and peas.
Service was exceptional and I would definitely return when I’m in town. Check it out!!

I had a jamaican beef patty it was my first time having one, the crust was flakey and the beef on the inside was nicely seasoned. I also had the jerk chicken rice and peas, the rice and peas were good but the jerk chicken was something special, it was the best jerk chicken I have ever had it was moist and fall off the bone tender, and just seasoned perfectly.

Really delicious food! If you want to eat here, I recommend calling ahead and then go pick it up. The chicken is so flavourful and the oxtail is delicious. If she has oxtail, get them! Because they are very rare to come by.

dolly is the sweetest ever ! I had jerk chicken this yummy since Jamaica ! I ate my food in the car and went right back in and got more chicken for home.

This small spot really stands out!!! Bright signage, seating out front, and the music is pumping. Everyone was so friendly and the food was so fresh!
Pictured here is the Curry Chicken Roti. This was absolutely amazing. So much flavour, chunks of chicken, and the Roti. I mean wow! Watching this made fresh in front of me was incredible. Roti is a soft, thin, flatbread cooked on a flat cast-iron pot called a Tawa.
I also enjoyed a Jamaican Beef Patty. It was perfection! Made in-house, stuffed with meat, and the perfect amount of spice to heat ratio.
This is a must try location. Make sure you check it out.

One word: WOW. Let me tell you, I’ve never had jerk chicken before, and I’ll tell you, I was blown away. The chicken was moist, had an amazing earthy flavour complimented by the sweet jerk sauce, then you have the rice which was in the next level when paired with jerk sauce. The service was amazing as well, the owner was very polite and had an amazing positive attitude and had no problem subbing the coleslaw with extra rice (I have a mayo phobia). And the atmosphere and smell of the restaurant was amazing too, I felt like I was in the heart of the Caribbean! This was an awesome introduction to Jamaican food and I will definitely come back in the near future. One other thing to mention is that the price:what you get is very good as well, for the same price you could get 1/3 the amount of food at a fast food joint, so you get a nice amount of food per dollar here and is very much worth it. Overall, this is honest soul food and I recommend this to everyone. 11/10!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. New to Sarnia , and so happy I found this place to enjoy! The food is made to order, all from scratch, including the Jamaican patties they are unreal- so delicious! Friendly upbeat staff. Take out restaurant; there is a picnic table outside and a single chair inside for waiting.

I love Dolly’s food! Anything on her menu will be tasty but my favourite is her jerk chicken quesadillas!! I’ve been coming back for them pretty consistently. Her salsa and seasonings have so much flavour. Can be a little spicy if you can’t handle hot sauce or sriracha heat level!
The quesadillas have a nice kick because of the tender jerk chicken, spicy garlic mayo and salsa. The char on the tortilla adds a nice smoky flavour. Then the thinly sliced mango and caramelized onions add a hint of sweetness, tying it all together. So addicting and always made fresh!! If I were to recommend one thing from here it has to be the quesadillas. Her Roti and Jamaican Beef patties (all from from scratch) are also delicious.
She always writes a cute thank you on the takeout box too 🙂 a gem in Sarnia for sure!
