A cute restaurant with water front and park views. Quaint little spot with the great food, good service and tv’s to watch sports.

The menu is comical and is sure to keep you laughing.

The salmon bowl was delicious and the shrimp and crab pasta was yummy!

The staff was really nice and the food didn’t take long.

Location is great to walk around before or after dinner / drinks and they offer indoor and outdoor seating.

New ownership – nothing has changed. Longtime patron. I went with my go-to order of crab cake, Mac n cheese and (something different) mashed potatoes! Broiled crab cake was on-point, same for Mac n cheese and REAL potatoes for the mashed potatoes – excellent! Shrimp Mac n cheese was LOADED with shrimp!

I really enjoyed every aspect of the restaurant! The view and breeze make this restaurant a must try! The bartender was very nice and helpful, and they have great, happy hour specials! Try the half and half crab soups it was delicious! Popcorn with old bay from the bartender was complimentary and delightful! Crab balls–almost all meat! The crab claws were very good as well! We will be back, and I want to try the Sunday brunch!

Awesome spot with amazing views and history! There is indoor and outdoor seating on a patio that also had a bar. Wheel chair ramps on both sides of the restaurant and plenty of parking.

We sat outside at the bar with a view of the water and Fort Delaware. Our bartender was amazing. Handmade our drinks (muddled fruits, etc) and had no problem adjusting a signature drink to remove something I didn’t want.

There was also a couple at the bar that asked for popcorn and the bartender not only asked every bar patron if we wanted popcorn too, but made a fresh batch so we all had fresh popcorn. Little things like that make a huge difference in an experience and we thought he was so awesome.

We ordered happy hour food to give a couple things a try. The crab balls were delicious and packed with lump meat. Wings were so so…kind of dry but that happens sometimes and with a little extra sauce they were good. We also got the crab claw cocktail just to try it. Honestly, as a person that eats blue crabs during the summer I wasn’t impressed. The claws were very dry, almost if they had been over steamed which made them hard to bite off the claw. If they are meant to be eaten almost like a shrimp it was really hard to do. My husband got the “best of both” crab soup and it was absolutely awesome in flavor and consistency…probably the best crab soup I’ve had in DE in a long time.

I would absolutely recommend this spot as a stop off the beaten path with great views and a good menu. Although some of the food we tried was so so, I 100% believe eating a meal there would prove worth it as I know there were many food options that were enticing.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Crabby Dick’s restaurant located near the Delaware River that offered some of the freshest and most delicious seafood in the area. The menu had a wide variety of meat and seafood options.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe that made the whole party feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my entire meal.

The only minor issue I encountered was that the barbecue sauce served with some of the dishes didn’t quite hit the mark for me. However, this was a small point of criticism in an otherwise fantastic dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood and is looking for a great dining experience near the Delaware River. The quality of the seafood, the welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent service make this restaurant a must-visit for seafood lovers in the area.

9/03/23 Lunch. We had the admiral’s catch, which included some scrawny king crab legs and some pretty good boiled shrimp. The shrimp and crab egg rolls were excellent!

Overall, it was a tasty experience that lacked the thoughtful service that would have made the lunch fun. The “average” to “very good” food combined with below-par service made today’s lunch just ok. For instance, we waited for almost 10 minutes for the server to bring over a nut cracker so we could eat the crab legs.

Excellent: Uniquely satisfying. A special place.
Very Good: Better than expected.
Average: An everyday experience. Just OK.
Fair: Below par. Dirty smells. & / or flies.

Short version – I would not recommend this place to eat
Long version –
We went here on a trip to Fort Delaware State Park as it was close to the harbor and had a good review. The food here was bland and not flavorful. Very basic seasoning mainly from tartar sauce. The crab sandwich bun was stale and not even toasted. The chips were crispy and cooked fine, but did not have any salt on them. The crab cake should have some seasoning on it like the popcorn which had old bay dusting. The crab soup was cold and lacked depth of taste as well. Just unseasoned cream soup. The crab pretzel was ok but there was very little crab for the cost. The service was fine and the waitress was extremely nice, just a bit slow as the kitchen seemed to have issues actually working. The best part of the food was the free popcorn they gave us.
We came here because the reviews were nicer, but we maybe expected a little much…

I was at the bar, and my girlfriend Lauren and I were served by a young lass named Emily. I just have to say: she was completely stellar. Her recommendations were super on point and the whole atmosphere was enormously convivial. That’s a specific shout-out to her but Kevin, who was on earlier, was also fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this place, specifically for the staff. Yes!
