The food was amazing! Wonderful family from Long Island. I lived 48 years in NJ, and this place brought me back to fine Italian cuisine. The wine was good, and the price was reasonable. Donny and his wife were so welcoming!! Sit down at a table or at the bar. Highly recommended! style from Long Island good old family restaurant. You’re going to love it

Time for an update. Can I give them 7-Stars?!? We eat here at least twice a week. The staff is a sterling example of good hiring, never had a bad meal or experience. The folks working here are lovely and extremely hard workers. Wife and I feel like Dolces is our second dining room.
We’ve pretty much enjoyed every item from their menu and everything is a great choice. Friday night Braciole is awesome (photo attached), Clams over Linguine (according to my father) was the perfect balance of garlic and other flavors and clams were great, Chicken Marsala is probably the best I’ve had… Again everything is great just calling out some standouts. The food is a reflection of the owners, lots of passion goes into each meal going out!
Excellent food and location. We feel like home when we dine here. Literally everything on the menu is great and they use fresh ingredients. The restaurant is always clean, even when they’re busy. From the owners to the servers, they’re all awesome people and make you feel like you’re the only customer. Our favorites are the tortellini rosato, calzone and of course the pizza. If you’re planning for a party, they have a huge 36 inch pizza which is perfect for a large group.

The food was pretty good for a pizza spot, the Stromboli was great size but a little costly compared to other spots. My only gripe is the canoli was pretty lackluster.its filling didn’t seem like it was a proper mixture and was lacking on the chocolate chips inside.

Invited here from a friend who works in the area. Ordered the chicken angel hair pasta – asked to add spinach, but they were OUT of spinach. How an Italian restaurant runs out of spinach i have no clue.

The pasta is just basic frozen and reheat.. paid extr for toppings and didn’t even get it! My salad, says in menu feta cheese I got mozzarella… the fried mushrooms are gross. Don’t go here. And we spent $60!!!

Ordered on DoorDash two pizzas salad and meatballs. They sent the wrong pizza We ate it because we were starving but honestly when you’re ready for a supreme and you get veggie. It’s disappointing.

V’s was packed (as always), so we popped over to Dolce’s for our first time. Service was fantastic, pizza was good- crust was amazing. Calamari was basic. The table at our booth slid all over the place; granted, we had three boys with us, but it was rather annoying. I knocked off one star for pricing. Too much $$$ for the overall experience.

I’ve ordered several items on the menu and have enjoyed each of them. My wife enjoys the angel hair with regular meat sauce, and of course, the cheese pizza. There’s always more than enough food.
A week or so I had penne à la vodka. The sauce was really good so I ordered it again the other night and instead of Penne I got the rigatoni à la vodka, added mushrooms, and Italian sausage. It was fantastic. It was the best of all the entrées that I’ve had from Dolce’s so far. We will definitely be ordering that again.
