I ordered a cake here for my boyfriend’s graduation from Penn State and it was amazing! I had ordered it last minute and they made sure it would be ready in time with my custom message. I chose the 1 tier vintage style grad cake design. The detail and piping looked just like the photos and the message turned out beautiful. My boyfriend and his family loved it. It tasted just as good as it looked!

Dolce Vita Desserts was a sweet highlight on our last day moving our son out after his Penn State graduation! I grabbed their Penn State paw cookies for his party and they were an absolute hit. I was so relieved to find them, especially since no other local bakeries offered anything similar. Beyond their unique design, these cookies were incredibly delicious. The staff was lovely, and the shop had so many other tempting treats. Highly recommend a stop at Dolce Vita Desserts when you’re in State College!

I have loved Dolce Vita desserts for almost 10 years. When it was time for my wedding cake, I knew I wanted Dolce Vita, even though I now live 2+ hours away. Mary and the team were very communicative regarding traveling with my cake and made the process seamless. The cake was everything I hoped for! It was beautiful and delicious. We had some gluten free guests who we got cupcakes for and they said it was the best gluten free cupcakes they have ever had !

Dolce Vita baked us a delicious and beautiful cake for our wedding! We were able to order a cake sample kit from them, and then placed our order online. They called us a few days before the wedding to ensure everything was correct. Pick up was easy. We received lots of compliments on both the appearance and taste of the cake!

I was thoroughly impressed with the desserts! I went specifically for gluten free and gluten free, vegan options. I was so surprised to see how many options there were. The place itself was really cool in design, and set up was great. Both the gluten free and gluten free, vegan options were really good! The cupcakes were not dry at all, and the sweetness was perfect (not too sweet and full of flavor). Pricing was good for the type of desserts. All in all, definitely recommend, and I will be going back to try more options!
