Dolce Bakery impressed me from the start. The pumpkin whoopie pies were incredible with the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The brownies were some of the best I have had with a rich chocolate flavor and a soft chewy texture. The Chiefs cookies were a hit with their fun design and they tasted just as good as they looked.
The staff was kind and made the experience easy and welcoming. The bakery itself is bright cheerful and filled with treats that make it hard to choose.
This is the kind of place that makes an ordinary day feel like a celebration. I will definitely be coming back for more.

A great place to get your sweet tooth fix. This an abundance of cookie cutouts you can enjoy. My trip was for the cupcakes, especially the mini ones. The minis is just the right size to pop into your mouth and not feel like you’re cheating on your diet. Cupcakes tasted wonderful and more importantly they weren’t dry. Lemon cake was just as good

I would give them 5 stars across the board, however they screwed me over. All I wanted was 4 little cupcakes and 1 cookie. And I definitely paid for it, but when I got over to my mom to surprise her with a wonderful treat, I realized why they were so quick to seal the little box. Too bad. Service like that I’ll never go back. And I hope someone will read this and learn from my mistake of trusting people to do the right thing. I never would have thought that the young woman who helped me would have done that.

We opted for a two-tiered cookie cake with peanut butter frosting, which was a showstopper and quickly became a favorite among our guests. In addition to the cookie cake, we had a dessert bar filled with an assortment of treats, including cookies, cupcakes, oatmeal cream pies, and more. Each item was crafted to perfection, and everyone absolutely loved them! The quality and taste of the desserts exceeded our expectations, making our celebration even sweeter. I absolutely love Dolce Bakery. It has the best treats in town, but it drives me nuts that they close at 5pm. I realize it is in Prairie Village and there may be a lot of stay at home moms, but it makes it impossible for people with 9-5 jobs to get something after work.
I left work 15 min early today to try and get there before they closed. Got there at 5:02pm and they wouldn’t open the door. Needed something for a friend’s birthday tonight! Had to go to Hen House instead… wish they would stay open later.

Another excellent bakery churning out some of the best pastries in town. On my way home this morning after dropping off the princess who won’t drive in the snow. The truth is I won’t let her! I haven’t been here in a long time and I’m happy I stopped in this morning since the orange roll I chose was indeed excellent. Be prepared to pay top dollar for a high end product in a high rent neighborhood.

We had an americano, lemon cupcake and a red velvet cupcake! A little too much frosting, but the cake was moist and really good not overly sweet and the coffee was really good. We wanted to try the sand which cookies but they only had 1 flavor.. that was one thing that could be improved. More flavor options.
