Dolce is by far my favorite coffee shop in town! The owners are involved and kind, the baristas are knowledgeable and friendly, and the food and drinks are AMAZING. Not to mention, the atmosphere is perfect! A trendy casual coffee shop during the day turned into L’Uva, an elevated wine bar in the evening. 10/10 establishment, great work!

Dolce has the market cornered on gelato, being the only place that serves it within any reasonable driving distance. However, that hasn’t made the owners lazy. It is a carefully thought out corner shop that makes good use of the limited space. The flavors they serve are unique and refreshing, with odd ones like Honey & Goat Cheese (which admittedly I loved because I’m weird). The prices are good and the atmosphere, while not entirely cozy, is quaint and relaxing. Overall, the design is not perfect but well thought out all the same, it is well priced and unique, and well worth a stop on a summer day or evening.

We stopped by after my wife finished the Starkville half marathon and the young lady working behind the counter (by herself) couldn’t have been any sweeter!! She got my wife her drink crazy fast and wished us well. The menu looked like it had some great food options too so it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to grab something to eat here if we’re ever back in town.

Dolce has been my home away from home for a year now all because I walked in and had the best sandwich of my life (the brie and prosciutto) and simply couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for a grilled cheese again. If you’re looking for a local small business to support but also want great food or coffee and a unique space to hangout, Dolce is definitely what you’re looking for!!

Dolce is dangerously good. Like, “oops I blacked out and bought three desserts” good. The cheesecake is perfect, and there’s such a large selection of gelato (#bringbacksaltedcaramel). I don’t even like sweets that much and somehow I keep ending up here.
Also, if you see a guy running around like he’s in five places at once — that’s Robbie the boss man. Legend says he doesn’t sleep, just powers down for 30 mins like a Roomba. Extremely helpful, staff is always on point, and one of the best places in stark to settle down to do homework and actually enjoy studying.
Anyway, 10/10 recommend if you want to treat yourself or accidentally eat dessert for dinner. No judgment here.
