This place is the best place. We decided to stop in for my sister’s 50th birthday on short notice. We were welcomed with open arms. My sister (Dawn) ended up singing karaoke all night, and the dj was so nice, and sweet. I liked Francesca a lot. She was warm and friendly. I liked our server. I do not remember his name, but everyone here is Awesome. I even stumbled across the owner who was in the bar. Very nice down to earth people, and I must say I don’t care who the owner voted for or what pictures he has in his bar. These are the nicest people ever. You can smoke in the bar, however it did not bother us because we had such a fabulous time. Cincinnati says hello to all the nice people in Dolans. Thanks guys for making Rae’s birthday a very special night. When in town folks. Go here, you will have the best night ever. I loved the Poker, and the games that are in the place. The drinks and the food were good. Thanks guys!!! I will always stop here when I am in town.

I want to say thank you to the bar staff/employees of the night that were actually apologetic and caring people. A friend and I just got off work and I asked her to play pool to distract myself from feeling down about losing my dad and aunt end of last year to a horrible accident and losing a battle to cancer. My other co worker said this is the only place to play pool in area but was hesitant with the fact that it is a smoking bar but still chose to go. We were there playing darts and hanging for about an hour until a women came up to me randomly shouting in my face that she is a groomer she cares about dogs and do I talking about my service animal saying his nails were too long (which I cut his nails last week and stopped because I was close to the quick which I still don’t even know why it was thought to randomly come up to me shouting in my face about ) after I literally tried to hide myself in the corner table to avoid anymore of that instead she then comes up to me grabs me around my shoulder to hold me in place while she shows me grooming pictures and says how she was “not being aggressive” and to take care of my dog. After this me and my friend are just still waiting to play pool together and about two hours of being there and with my service animal healed to my side all night long a drunk, angry, stumbling man comes up out of nowhere shouting at me do you have papers for that dog. The whole night I had to tell about at least 4 people no you can’t pet he is a service animal with even his vest so I thought it was just another patron. When I explain its not legal under ada to ask for papers or medical information only to ask if he is for a disability and what tasks he shouted you need to leave. If my service animal was untrained you can tell within the first couple of minutes. Not that I should even have to explain but I have been hospitalized from my disability multiple times and hate the fact that I even need a service animal or know people are going to look at me and wonder what is wrong with me already but to be harassed and shouted at by two different people one being the actual owner in one night is not something anyone should go through. Even when my friend went to close tab and pay bill he came back storming at me and I asked to please stop being aggressive we are doing the right thing and paying out bill to be able to leave and started shouting again “IM NOT BEING AGRESSIVE” where my friend was back and ran out. I have not stopped shaking and crying from this event last night and pray that it is never done to anyone else.

Kim Knight from Dolan’s Bar was an exceptional bartender. We stopped by Dolan’s when we were in Franklin. Ms. Kim Knight answered our questions, gave us helpful information, did a bang-up job, serving our drinks, & is just great at her job (& dealing with people). I would love to go back. Go, Kim! Go, Kim! Thank you for everything!!!

i never Loved dolans but i did like going you can smoke you can play pool but god forbid u have disabilities and need a service animal. Considering the review from 6 months ago seems like a pattern. Specifically…. maybe… an illegal discriminatory pattern? maybe jumping to conclusions but not worth coming back to a place like that.

The only reason for four stars is the smoking, which will limit our frequency here. Sheila is a FANTASTIC waitress, quick with a smile and very friendly, helpful and fun. The best part of our visit was the food…it was DELICIOUS! The chicken Corden Bleu sandwich was huge and filling, as was the wife’s cheeseburger. If you can tolerate some smoke, it’s worth trying this establishment.

Nothing but great vibes in this bar.
Willie the bartender has a huge personality and he made sure I alway had a cold one in front of me.
This bar is full of regulars and they invited me to sit with them and made me feel very welcome. I can’t remember all there names, I met everyone in the place. One stand out was Mia ( owner of victory tattoos) a local business.
I had a fantastic time talking with everyone. I travel for work and hope I can make it there again.
They have pool tables , a punching bag. You can smoke and they have a cigarette machine in case you run out.
I would give this fun place my highest recommendation.

Quite nice bar around the corner.
I’ve been there quite often, and never had a bad experience.
Their food is for the location outstanding, I’ve had the chicken wrap, different pizzas and the chicken salad. All of the food I’ve had was fresh, hot and tasty.
They have 3 tables for pool and 3 dart systems, a jukebox and most of the evenings karaoke. At some evenings there are some poker games going on.
Be aware of the pool players in here, I haven’t met any player in here which was not at least above average.
If you are bothered by smoking, don’t visit this place if it is crowded, it is with inside smoking.

I wasn’t impressed. Drinks weren’t strong. Smoking is permitted, which is fine but unexpected for me. It was a dive bar feel and I expected more of an upbeat sports bar based on the website. Staff and owners were friendly but like… too friendly, almost desperate to keep the customer. It was also filled with trump memorabilia. If that’s your thing, fine, but it was too much for me.
