I went to this restaurant the first time by myself, all the food looks good on the menu , I wanted to try them all.. so I ordered the royal laghman, the cold sKin noodle and the lamb skewer. All 3 dishes were delicious, especially the lamb skewer I super like it. I can tell the Laghman noodle is hand pulled noodle tested very ‘jindao’ . The only thing I would recommend is the service, it will be perfect if the waitress would check on the customer a bit more often.

I had a great experience at Dolan Uyghur Restaurant. I ordered the Chuchura soup, the Goshnan, and the Korma chop. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was also very good, attentive without being overbearing.
I also tried the mango doghap, which was surprisingly refreshing and really good. Overall, excellent food and a great experience. I’ll definitely be back.

This was my first time at this place. I went with friends who got fancy meat entrees so I don’t have pictures. But I got tofu and it was decent. The spice was good. Spicy is actually quite spicy so adjust you level accordingly. I liked the ambiance and the service very much! Will visit again

The staff are very pleasant and professional but I wasn’t terribly impressed with the “Korma Chop” stir fry dish I ordered. I’m not an expert on the cuisine but it seemed to be just noodles stir fried with a few veggies, and doused in oyster sauce. It didn’t taste “bad” and to be fair, I wasn’t really sure what to order or what to expect. I guess I expected something I wouldn’t be able to make at home with about $2 worth of ingredients, 15 minutes of prep, and 5 minutes of cooking.
It’s not enough to just have clever marketing and social media branding. You’ve got to serve food that people will feel good about recommending to friends and family.
This restaurant is in the lobby of my apartment building and it’s been rebranded three times in the five years I’ve lived here. I really want to like this place. I want to be able to bring friends and family here when they come to
visit. The staff are great. The decor is beautiful. My only hold up is the food.

My wife found this place on Google and suggested we try it. This is an amazing restaurant in an upscale neighborhood in Rockville MD. Tried 3 dishes including the Lamb Skewer which was absolutely amazing which was both juicy and tender. Also ordered the pepper steak which was very nicely cooked. The naan was great as well and they have a great selection of dishes.
Atmosphere is great and the servers are friendly and fast. I highly recommend this place because their dishes are a little different from the typical Chinese dishes.

I absolutely LOVED! Dolan Uyghur! The food was delicious, service was attentive, atmosphere was welcoming, and so on! This was one of the few times I’ve got the chance to eat Uyghur cuisine and I was absolutely blown away. The food is filled with many different ingredients and complimentary seasonings, and I was extremely glad to see that there was many vegetarian options, accommodating to my taste. The servers and manager were extremely sweet. They tended to us amazingly and checked up on us a considerate amount of times. As for the atmosphere, the decorations and seating were aesthetically appealing. The music also added a nice touch, making my experience with friends all the more enjoyable. I strongly recommend dining here; I personally will be back here again!

I was introduced to this restaurant by my good friend who sang its praises, and we went back again recently for an equally fantastic meal.
As someone who was generally unfamiliar with this style of cuisine it was a great introduction with a tremendous amount of variety and flavor
Each time we have gone, the owner and general customer service has been top-notch with careful attention to detail and a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’ve lived in China, I’ve had food in Urumqi Xinjiang, Beijing and Chongqing and even had Chinese food in Malaysia, and I was very excited to go and have this Halal Xinjiang Uyghur food at Dolan but I was absolutely heartbroken when I experienced that the taste was far from Chinese. The eggplant was the closest thing to the Chinese food I had there. The Signature Rice noodles were abysmal, too much salt, I even complained and the server just said that your feedback will be delivered to the Chef, I mean dude, that doesn’t solve my problem, I’m paying for this inconsistent poisonously salty dish which I cannot even eat! I know Piter Manta (dumplings) are supposed to be lamby and have that gamey lamb smell, but man here the smell was intense. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, in Urumqi they asked us if we wanted really smelly one or less smell, obviously my preference is less smell! They should have chicken, beef and shrimp dumplings with no smell too. The Eggplant was the star of the show but sadly I’m not coming back here. Even the Chilli oil was bland with no real kick or flavoring. I love Chinese food but sadly this didn’t fit the bill!
