Went out with some friends, and the food was delicious. They also had a musician singing which added a nice twist to the atmosphere. The restaurant’s design and style is unique. They do have spicy food;which is different than what we are used to. The spices add a great heat to the meal that I highly recommend. The staff was friendly, the one thing it took a long time to find someone to get us the check. The owner/manager was very interested in our experience which was amazing.

Wonderful little gem.
The food is seasoned perfectly! If you like spicy, get the chili chicken. Tender chicken in spicy chili sauce. You’ll need the rice that comes with it. Their signature rice noodle dish is also a must try. The portion sizes are large, so splitting a dish is definitely doable.
Super friendly staff from the moment we entered! Clean and inviting atmosphere.

Highly recommended, this was my first time trying Uyghur food. It was truly delicious. I’d love to try another Uyghur restaurant next time. The main dishes were delicious, but the honey cake and chocolate layer cake for dessert captivated our taste buds. The honey cake, in particular, was the best honey cake I’ve ever had. I highly recommend trying the honey cake.

The food was excellent and clearly reflects authentic Uyghur cuisine. The service was good, and I highly recommend the Mongolian beef steak. The sauce was outstanding. P.S. You can count my 5 ⭐️ as two since I was not alone and my brother agrees with me.

One of the best representations of Uyghur food in the DMV area. We went there on a Friday evening for dinner, and didn’t have to wait for a table. The interior was cozy and colorful, and we really liked the fabric tapestries and warm lighting fixtures. Their specialty is their made in house noodles, so we started with the cold egg noodle appetizer, which are delightfully tender and even subtly creamy, and pair well with the spicy oil and crunchy cucumbers. For the mains, we ordered the korma chop, which is their version of Chinese lo mein featuring their fresh, springy and addictively chewy wheat noodles fried with beef, spring onion and bell peppers, and the whole lamb tandoor kebab individual (1 lb), which features succulent, flavorful roast lamb served with refreshing pickled veggies and white rice, and to finish we ordered the kazandibi, a sweet milk pudding with a toasty caramelized exterior. All in all an excellent first experience, we will definitely be back again!

When you are craving fantastic Uyghur cuisine, Dolan is the place you go! From the service to the food this place hits the spot on all the fronts. There are a lot of options to choose from and all of them are carefully crafted and taste is balanced. The chuchura soup was flavorful and perfect after a long day. We had the bok choy and spicy skewers which were great to start off. The royal laghman, pepper steak and korma chop were great. Their grill selection of lamb skewers are highly recommended. Overall would give 10/10! Fast service and delicious food. A must try!
