In addition to the brick & mortar location, Dogtown caters numerous events such as festivals, weddings, private parties, game day tailgating, with our Pizza Truck. In its true essence, Dogtown is a culture filled with many different characters who come together creating a community based experience for all. Best pizza is not to be missed in Floyd. We got three pizzas for our family the meat lovers the creamy pig and the kitchen sink and all pizzas were cooked to perfection with a fantastic crust. The salads were fresh and delicious as well

Dogtown Pizza in Floyd is one of those places you walk into and immediately feel the vibe. Laid-back, cool, a little artsy in that classic Floyd way where everyone seems to be having a good time and nobody’s in a hurry. The atmosphere alone makes it worth the stop.
The food absolutely delivers. Everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. You can tell they care about what they’re serving, not just tossing out another generic pizza. I ordered the Béchamel butcher pizza and it was easily one of the best pizzas ive ever had.
A big shout-out to our waitress Susan, who was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great service like that really stands out and she nailed it.
Between the amazing food, the relaxed Floyd vibe, and excellent service from Susan, Dogtown Pizza is definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to. If you’re anywhere near Floyd, it’s worth the stop.

Really liked this place in Downtown Floyd. Wood fired pizza was really good and the cheese curds checked out with the Wife from Wisconsin! Great service, our server James was top notch. Knew when to help us and when to leave us alone. Definitely will be back when I’m around.

Just a few minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this place is awesome! The atmosphere is fun and inviting, the service is kind, friendly, and thoughtful, and the food is phenomenal!
I highly recommend the Appalachian Pizza; I am fully aware that apple butter on a pizza sounds very unusual – but suspend your disbelief, and give it a try! The sweetness of the apple butter, is met with a slight bite from the goat cheese, and balanced by the local sausage and some of the best pizza dough I have ever eaten!
Give this place a try! You won’t regret it!
Note: if you have young kids, try to come in a bit earlier for dinner, as it’s still definitely a bar.

Went with a group, which was a good thing because had it just been me and my husband, I would’ve left. We waited 30 minutes to get drinks. We had to flag down our waiter then he decided that he wasn’t going to wait on us so another one came. Orders were forgotten and they didnt have some ingredients but instead of asking if we still wanted them, they still brought them out or canceled. To top it all off, one of the waitresses PUSHED me to get around me while we were waiting to pay. Later learned the same waitress pushed my husband while he was waiting for a drink at the bar.

A really fun place with good pizza. We had a toddler meltdown And the staff were super accommodating and helped us get the pizza and out the door quickly. The crust is delicious. Well worth a stop in Floyd.

We waited an hour for food for four people on a slow Sunday afternoon, only to receive several dishes cold. For basic, mediocre bar food, the wait was ridiculous. No apology, no explanation, and we ended up sending items back and requesting that they be removed from the bill. This experience was disappointing from start to finish.

Updated 9/15/24: Had a good time but the service has changed, the front Hostess wasn’t very pleasant and was very smug when we asked to move to a different table where we would’ve felt more comfortable…wouldn’t let us. Ran out of drinks a few times not seeing our waitress for awhile, didn’t get to order a Starter til about 30 mins after sitting….but got better as the night progressed and the place was more busy ♂️
⭐⭐⭐ instead of 5, hopefully will improve before we return.
Very Friendly. VERY clean. Very spacious. Outside and Inside seating. Wait staff was excellent even though they were very busy. Love the outside seating overlooking the Floyd event area and Main street. VERY dog friendly which is a HUGE PLUS in my book. Easily accessible though parking is somewhat hard to find being across main street but it is a very busy Floyd so it’s understandable and worth it. Highly recommended.

Decent place and food, but they will charge you $60 just to sit at a table! And, once seated, they tell you they’re sold out of half the menu! This is Floyd, not LA! Their mgmt needs to get a grip. Servers and kitchen are awesome. Bar, too. It’s just the “policies” that suck.
