I stopped in today with my kids and had such a great experience. It’s a simple taco and hot dog spot, but don’t let the simplicity fool you, the food is SO good. We had street tacos with chips and salsa, and we ordered fresh churros, everything was delicious and fresh.
What really stood out though, was how incredibly welcoming and kind they were. You can tell they truly care about their customers and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. It’s the kind of place you want to support and keep coming back to.
Highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try!

We came in excited to get burritos. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast burrito and my husband ordered a carnitas one. Our bill was $30.
I got a burrito that had maybe 1 egg, two cut up HOT DOGS (not sausage), and probably half a pound a cheese. I couldn’t even eat it. Also no flavor.
My husband’s burrito was not carnitas, which should be shredded pork. It looked like day-old cut up sirloin.
We ate about a 1/3 of our plates and threw the rest away. Just go to Filiberto’s next door.

Adolofo, Arturo, Cesar were AMAZING!!! Very friendly & helpful with questions regarding the menu. Everyone was very welcoming & happy when we entered to pickup our phone order. The food was delicious per usual! Cesar definitely does his BiG 1! Our Steak Fries & Steak Burrito were very fresh & flavorful! Looking forward to my next visit!

It’s Monday, I’m starving and haven’t eaten all day and have been in city meetings about permits and licenses. On my way home I decided to pop into Dogos Y Tacos El Gordo on Southern Ave in the Fietsa District Mesa by my house. They had a lot of menu options but my kids like plain carne asada and plain bean and cheese. I have the full flavor carne asada with all the fixins and got a papa loka for good measure. The food was delicious and they even toasted the burrito after it was rolled. The folks there were friendly and Joked Aron’s with me as they made the food. They are a true local and even told me about their charity ventures. I’ll be back!

I had a unique dining experience at the restaurant! While the food didn’t quite meet my expectations, I must say that the staff member there was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I tried a variety of dishes, including:
3 Birria Quesatacos
Taco combo
2 Al Pastor street tacos
1 fish taco
Although the flavors weren’t to my liking, I appreciate the effort that went into the meal. One area that could use some improvement is the salsa bar, as I was hoping for a wider selection. Overall, it was a memorable visit, and I look forward to seeing how they evolve their menu in the future!

Dogos Y Tacos is a delicious restaurant! My girlfriend and I recently went for some tacos and found they have a great deal on Tuesdays! The tacos were good we got Carnitas, Al Pastor, Birria and Asada tacos with chips and guacamole. For the tacos I would say the carnitas and birria were on the lower side, the al pastor was great and the asada was the highlight! Very good flavor! The guacamole was alright as well. The salsas were amazing I usually dont like red salsas as they usually just add heat with no flavor but here it was really nice! I still prefer their green sauce as it just kicks with flavor but it was nice to switch between the sauces. The service was great although wait times were pretty long. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area looking for some good tacos!

I had a craving for Sonoran hot dogs and my friends and I stumbled upon this place in our search. My first time here and it’s hands down my new favorite!! This place is AMAZING! I had the chilidogo with full beans added. It was incredible. Literally an orgasm for the mouth. I love how they toasted the bun too… Soooo delicious and definitely a perfect spot for post-drinking and regular craves. Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends. Everyone is super nice too which makes the environment.
