So brilliant! Excellent food; excellent service; excellent atmosphere. I went to the Berkeley branch when they were about to close. But the food was still hot and delicious! The bread and the sausage were so good. Danke!

We stopped in on Monday expecting it to be slow but it was hopping! Chris, the bartender, was very helpful and immediately gave us our different options for placing our orders. I like having the choice of ordering from the QRL code at the table or the kiosk or in person at the bar. Chris was the only one working and he did a great job addressing all our questions while fielding all the to-go orders and serving folks sitting at the bar. The chili cheese dog was so delicious, not to mention the onion rings and sweet potato fries! Loved being able to take my dog inside as well. Great place to watch any game because they had several large screen TVs too. We will definitely return. The only store policy that was strange was there is a code needed for the bathroom and the bartender had to stop what he doing to open the bathroom door for each person requesting. I suggest the owner rethink this policy. It is very inconvenient for everyone. Also, note the parking lot has only 4 spots and 1 handicap, I’d suggest parking on the street. We will definitely return!

Was considering having a party here so I wanted to try their food. Went to the Berkeley location for Happy Hour at little after 3pm and was unable to get an order placed with the discounts.
I signed up using my phone number in order to get the special discounts (or so I thought).
Placed the order for the 4 Chopped Cheese sliders , The Ruben Tots, and 2 other items that were supposed to be 1 dollar off each.

The person who attended to the order said he only started 3 days ago and couldn’t override or give the discount. It was extremely frustrating and was told that the manager was there and would see about it. Never had the opportunity to speak to the Manager as they never came out. Strangely, there wasn’t any customers around and so that could have also been a sign. I assumed that the system would discount the order through the kiosk order system but it didn’t and only the full price was being charged.

They should look into this problem, I just couldn’t understand why they couldn’t manually input the price with the discounts for Happy Hour to allow the discount so ended up just leaving after 30 minutes of attempting to order. I was ready to spend almost 50 for food, but sadly I never was able to even order to take advantage of the Happy Hour discount.

This place is awesome! Not sure why it’s not 5 stars. Lots of different beer options and the food was amazing! We were a party of 4 and got different dogs/chicken – all were great! Wish we had this type of place near our home. FYI – if it says spicy- it is! But again so yummy! Definitely recommend this place.

Straight Fire.

I was headed to the taqueria, which I’m sure is also great, but ended up parking across the street from here and I’m glad I gave it a try.

Great local beer selection, as well as a full bar. A very versatile menu with all-beef hot dogs, traditional brats, burgers and chicken both grilled and fried.

Owner, Miguel was awesome.

This was my first time visiting a Dog Haus. The entire experience from the service to the food was on point. The gentleman who helped me asked if it was my first time. He then proceeded to ask questions to help point me in the right direction while also sharing what some of his favorites are. I got the Little Mule. The Hawaiian buns are clever. It made it so easy to actually cut the burger to eat it while also adding a nice touch of sweetness.

This establishment needs help. The young man that was working the front of the house was the server, bartender, host. He did as much as he could to the best of his abilities. The kitchen staff could have possibly been overwhelmed but I had to send the food back twice and it still did have the things that I asked for on the burgers. Take your time and please take pride in preparing the food correctly and with love. Considering I spent $40+ on a burger and chopped cheese sliders is it too much to get lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles for them? This still was an issue after the young man went into the kitchen three times to relay the message and confirm the order. All of this primarily due to the fact that there is not anyone available to take your order and the self service kiosk doesn’t allow for additional items to be added to the order, just the removal of specific items. Please don’t just respond with the generic message asking to reach out the ‘we care’ email. Actually do something to help the staff and the establishment progress forward

Went on. Saturday, lunchtime. Only two customers present. Ordered an Impossible sausage ($12.99) and a pint of beer ($9). Long delay between ordering and delivery. Only half an impossible was used. Topping, mustard and sauerkraut were very tasty. Still, $13 for half a sausage was extravagant (IMO). Verdict: poor service and mediocre food. Not recommended.

This review is not about the menu, the prices, or the ambiance. I never even made it past the entrance. My visit was a brief, stark lesson in the difference between following a rule and exercising basic human decency.
I arrived at this establishment in distress, genuinely sick and in urgent need of a restroom. I approached a staff member—who looked me directly in the eye—and politely asked if I could use their facilities, explaining my immediate need before I planned to sit down and order something.
The response was immediate and without a trace of compassion: “No, you can’t. It’s for customers.”
I was in a moment of vulnerability, and in return, I was met with cold, rigid adherence to policy. I simply said, “Thank you, I really appreciate that,” and left.
To the management: I left not because I was rejected, but because your employee’s reaction showed me everything I needed to know about the values of this business. A momentary lapse in judgment for a few seconds of water use would have been an act of goodwill. Instead, you chose to prioritize the sanctity of your restrooms over the immediate physical need of a person who intended to be your patron.
If your policy cannot bend for a sick person in desperate need, it is a bad policy, and you are running a business, not a community space. Kindness and common sense are always better business practices than rigidity. I highly recommend taking a moment to reflect on what matters more: a few cents of water, or your humanity. I will never return.
