My visit was went quite well.
Sam was exceptional. She attended us with a smile and always checking on us. Great service.
I had the T-Mex sausage and Chicken sandwiches and both were delicious.
Hazy IPA and a cocktail. Both great drinks. Definitely a place I will return to try more.
The service was fast and friendly, and the place has a comfortable, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re craving something tasty or just want to hang out with friends, this spot is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!
Right when I walked in, the employee at the register was extremely rude. When I asked what sauces were available, instead of explaining them he gave no help at all, so I had to pull out my phone and look them up myself. There was no interaction, no friendliness, no smile, nothing.
After ordering, we waited 30 minutes for hot dogs, a cheeseburger, and tater tots. I’ve never had to wait that long at any Dog Haus before. We actually had somewhere to be, so I politely asked how much longer it would take and explained that if it was going to be much longer we might need to cancel the order. The employee completely ignored me at first while looking down, then acted like he hadn’t heard me even though I was standing right in front of him. After I repeated myself, he said, “I don’t know, I’m not a manager,” and walked away.
Meanwhile we could see food sitting in the back for at least 10 minutes, while the staff moved with absolutely no sense of urgency.
When we finally received our food, it was dropped at the table missing a hamburger. When I politely told the employee, she loudly responded “Ma’am…” in a very rude tone in front of everyone.
At that point we were already frustrated, but we decided to stay and eat. Unfortunately the food was just as bad as the service. My bowl was cold and the hot dog wasn’t even properly cooked. This is the worst bowl I’ve ever had from Dog Haus, and I usually order this item regularly at the Palmdale location.
The owner eventually came over and asked what happened. I explained the situation and she offered a refund. I told her she didn’t have to refund everything, but that my salad was terrible and I would appreciate a refund for that. She insisted she would refund the entire order.
However, it has now been seven days and I never received the refund. She mentioned this was her first time owning a restaurant, and unfortunately it shows. The staff has no training, no urgency, and no understanding of customer service.
This was by far the worst Dog Haus experience I’ve ever had, and unless management improves significantly, I can’t see this location lasting long.
I watched our food sit on the shelf for almost 15 minutes and then the tots were put up. Then about 3 other orders were put on the shelf aswell. I saw it was bagged and then continued to sit while he addressed the other orders. We both hoped it wasn’t our order. I had to open the door and ask if it was our number after the food had sat for 20 minutes.
We drove home fast and I took one bite and had to throw it away!!! My son reluctantly ate his and didn’t care for it as it was cold and not appetizing. He said it would’ve been better if it was fresh. I spent about $70 and regret not asking for them to remake it. We don’t live far and would eat there if they had their stuff together. That is the last time I will go there for sure! Bummed because it could’ve been good. The worst part was that it wasn’t busy at all. The people inside were eating and all the orders came after ours was placed. My wife works for a restaurant corporation and so I cut people a lot of slack. This was just too much! I would rather given my money to someone who needs it rather than literally throwing it in the trash!
