Dropped in for a quick lunch here after they were featured on WDRB in the morning. They have great, quality hotdogs, are dog friendly, do live music in warmer months and trivia nights. The staff is friendly yet not fake or overbearing. Will return.

Service was a bit slow, as they weren’t busy while we were there. Food was amazing and the building was clean, open and contemporary. We will happily return.

Stopped by on national hot dog day and by first impression I could tell that it looked like a really fun place to be. The bathrooms were clean and my server was very nice and friendly. I ordered several items for myself and I did not anticipate them to be soo large so some I just did not end up finishing. I ordered the old town dog, the t-mex sausage, and the el gallo chicken tenders. The el gallo chicken tenders were the most expensive item out of all and I did not like them so much because they were very hard and dry and tasted as though they’ve been frozen for a long time. I think the smothering of the bbq sauce on the tenders were meant to help but it did not do so much to conceal its quality. I did however enjoyed the t mex sausage and the pillowy buns that they used for both their regular hotdogs and sausages. The sausage was very juicy and had an almost perfect snap to it but the hot dog on the old town dog fell flat and did not live up to my expectations. It was just very wrinkly and salty and with the added condiments it just felt like I was taking a bite of sodium. But all in all, I like their take on styling hotdogs and sausages in fun ways and I understand that this is a franchise bar/restaurant so quality might not be their first priority. However as for a hangout and to watch sports it’s not a bad place at all.

I don’t make a lot of trips to New Albany, but when I do, this is one of the main spots that I wanna go to. This is an excellent spot with indoor and outdoor dining that is inviting! They specialize in hot dogs and burgers, even breakfast burritos! Now why is the vegetarian excited about this place? They have veggie options that are delicious and so well done. The tater tots are crunchy and perfect sides. They have excellent cocktails and beer options. Service was prompt and kind and they let us try a new cocktail sample as well! Starting in September they even have Jeopardy trivia. I’ll be making more trips to New Albany.

This review is for two Tuesday night visits. One was following a large snowstorm. The place was empty, and service was fast. The other was what I assume is more normal; a trivia game night with understandably slower service. I tried a slider burger, slider corndog, chili the kid hotdog, pastrami breakfast burrito, and cajun breakfast burrito. Yes, this is a hot dog restaurant. The dog I had was fine. Get a burrito. They are made with your choice of egg, but the over-easy is phenomenal in a burrito. I will return regularly.

2 adults one teenager for dinner. the food was so good I didn’t even attempt to take pictures. Everything came out super hot and fresh. Fiance and kid got burgers said they were “sooo good”. The kid actually ate ALL her food which is a rarity. I got the “big D” brat and the amount of spicy vs cheese was on point! The Hawaiian buns make a huge difference! Our server Kelly was amazing, very knowledgeable about the menu, talkative and quick. And generally overall just great. The manager Bobby came and gave us ideas to order, explained the menu items, even brought us a sample of the basil aioli and I swear it’s literally good on EVERYTHING!! Huge beer list too! We will definitely be back to try something different.

I had a good time here. The wait staff was HILARIOUS!!! As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by the most fabulous man and i immediately said, “Can you be my waiter” ? And his response was, “I can’t be but I trained everyone so I promise you will be taken care of”. I knew from there my experience was going to be awesome. As a first timer, I can say I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back. It was a Thursday, and it was triva night. I didn’t participate but I wish I would have. The i love the “Hawaiian bread on everything” concept. My favorite was the chili cheese dog. My waitress was amazing and very patient. She explained everything in detail and I absolutely love that. I can’t say enough great things about this place do yourself a favor and go.

Unfortunately, our dining experience just wasn’t good tonight. All the past visits have been awesome and I plan to return, but tonight was very disappointing.
The love boat tots had a smidge of chili and slaw at best. The picture on the website looks like they are loaded. They weren’t tonight. We asked our server to add more chili and slaw, but returned with what looked like the toppings had been smeared on to appear like they added more. My friend ordered the cheese fries and they hardly had any cheese on top. I was so confused by the stingy amount of toppings. It seemed like they were running out of food or the employees did it on purpose.
The Reservoir Hog sausage was delicious, so I was very happy with it.
I hope it’s better next time because this is a favorite hangout spot for me and my friends!

Doghaus was a great spot with a solid selection of beers on tap and a fun, welcoming vibe. The prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. The hot dogs, burgers, and sliders were all excellent, but the real surprise was everything being served on King’s Hawaiian rolls. I wasn’t sure how that would work at first, but it ended up being an amazing choice—it added just the right touch of sweetness and made everything taste even better. Definitely a place I’d go back to! Plus, it’s still a little chilly, but they have an open biergarten area where dogs are allowed, and there no way I’m missing a chance to enjoy some dogs with my dogs.
