I went to Dog Daze today for lunch as I work in the area and have never tried it. I ordered a Chili Cheese Dog, The Wilton Dog and Cheese Fries, along with a couple others for coworkers.
I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Great hotdogs! Not messy and sloppy like some places, actually, the opposite. You can tell a lot of care is used to make each one. They look picture perfect. That Wilton Dog was super good!! The fries are true thick cut hand made french fries. Sometimes I do not like these at other places but again was surprised at how good these were.
Additionally, they have a really great menu all around with burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and some other great items. Prices are reasonable as well.
Also to mention, the owner? who was working there was extremely friendly. They have a really nice little “farm market” there with some really great looking local fruits, vegetables, pickled veggies and local honey.
I was impressed with Dog Daze and I will be returning very soon.

Delicious hot dogs! The buns are toasted perfectly inside and and out. Chili is perfect. Fries are big steak cut with skin! Super good! Outside roadside tables only set in little alcoves or take away. Don’t drive by without stopping!

This was my first visit and I loved the cute decor and fall vibe! My husband kept talking about the squash blossoms, and I tried the corn fritters and ordered the Western Burger. I guess I wasn’t expected the height, but it had everything I like – bacon, bbq sauce, onion rings! If you want fresh tomatoes – they also have a stand for tomatoes and mini squashes that you can enjoy at home.

As genuine and new England as it gets…farmstand hot dog stand. Different kinds of sausages and brats, plus hot dogs with a variety of toppings. Mix in great fries and even burgers and some pulled pork options and it’s a home run! Love this Wilton gem!

Every time I come here I am amazed that any one just drives by. The burgers are pure juicy summer deliciousness, the fries are as if I fried fresh potatoes at home, it is a summer cookout without the prep or cleanup. They are so friendly, and I grabbed some honey too, because how can you not? I can’t review anything else because I am stuck on the burgers & fries!
