Classy gastropub without the stuffy vibe. Chef is top notch and knows his craft. The burger was fantastic (potentially my new favorite in WNY). The old fashioned was excellent. The bartender was skilled and attentive. The owners were very nice and accommodating. I enjoyed everything I ate, including the sprouts, pork belly, the smash burger, the cheesesteak, and duck poutine. I’ve already reccomended this place to some family and friends and plan to return very soon.

Was absolutely blown away by the food. I had the short ribs braised in red wine over smoked blue cheese whipped potatoes with grilled broccolini on top and shared the Korean Brussels. The fall of the bone tender meat mixed with the smoked blue cheese flavor cut with bits of broccolini, was a 5star combination. And while I usually stay away from fried vegetables, the sprouts are now an exception I will make again. This place is a real hidden gem and a must try for yourself; you will not be disappointed with your meal.

My best friend and I had lunch on a sunday sfternoon. The atmosphere had a relaxed but upper scale vibe. Some folks were in dressy outfits, others had sweatshirts on and nobody seemed out of place. This is the type of place you search for. A clean and classy gastropub with local charm. The bartender was skilled. She had a fantastic personality and mixed a killer old fashioned. The chef knows his stuff, too. The food was excellent, with photo worthy presentation. I’ve been looking for a good burger in WNY. This was the best burger I have had in years! Duck poutine was good. Cheese steak, pork belly, and spouts were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I did not try them, but the pistachio martini looked outstanding, and must have been great, judging on how many the bartender kept making. The owners were present and were humble and attentive. I plan to return for a date night with my wife. I enjoyed it so much that I may even become a regular here.

Great experience! The food was very good as well as the server. I have celiac which often limits the options of places I can eat. The server was knowledgeable about celiac. They have a separate fryer, which is so hard to find in our area! I had some amazing dog and pony fries and a kale salad with shrimp that were both outstanding. Highly recommend!

Absolutely 5 stars by a landslide.
The pork belly was off the hook, alongside the most soft and flavorful brussel sprouts on earth, it was a match made in heaven.
(The brussel sprouts themselves are heavily flavored and be mindful before ordering by itself)
I have to also mention that I just picked up a new #1 espresso martini, drink it from the glass not from the straw you’ll see what I mean…
Shannon was very friendly and helpful, she rocks.
Regards from a full happy and satisfied consumer from Brooklyn.

Great food with many gluten free options. Our waitress either had too many tables to take care of or something but because it seemed like she couldn’t get away from our table fast enough. I even had to ask for a glass of water at the bar because no one ever came to our table to ask if we wanted more water or more drinks witch we probably would have purchased more drinks if we were asked when we finished our first ones. Still gave 3 stars for service because my wife said the first time she was there another sever she had was awesome. Great place other than the service this time. We will definitely be going back to give it another try. The great food is worth it.

My first time at Dog and Pony and it won’t be my last! Great location near Shea’s Seneca, great to see what is happening in this area. I was able to meet a friend for dinner and I tried the Korean Brussels sprouts and the winter squash salad. Both were delicious, had hearty portions and left me full even though it was a veggie heavy meal. Sprouts were crispy, not too spicy and perfectly cooked. The salad had plenty of toppings and was a great mix of fall themed items. Service was awesome and she had some great pointers on the food and cocktail menu.
A great outdoor covered patio and plenty of gluten free menu options make this place a slam dunk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in the Dog and Pony Saloon. There were 4 of us and we all found our meals to be delicious. Service was timely, but without feeling that we were being rushed through our meal. Our waitress (Randi) was a delight – funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and really on the ball. Most of the crowd in the restaurant/bar were a lot younger than us, but everyone was very nice and seemed to be having a good time.
If there was any scope for improvement, it was that the area for people that bring their pets seemed a little barren and not particularly welcoming. We didn’t have our dog with us, but if we had, I expect we would have been a bit disappointed.
Other than that, though, we had a great night, with tasty food and a great server. Thank you.

Our experience wasn’t bad, but honestly, its wasn’t the 4.8 (google reviews at this time) experience we were expecting. We got the Pork Belly app, good, but obviously reheated. The $40 Steak (ok, but reheated), the chicken (good, but reheated), and the smash burger (fresh but average) entrees as well. Their basic formula is to reheat almost everything and top it with lots of fresh greens. The Smoke Show mixed drink was awful, but I sent it back and was not charged for it. Our waitress was nice, but seemed disinterested. $150 (+ tip) for the 3 of us, considering the quality of food, was not worth it. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place.
