I had a Greek omelette with spinach, tomato, feta, mushrooms & onions. The photo doesn’t do it justice. It was chock full of spinach. Sometimes too many ingredients can ruin an omelette (counterintuitively). But, this was perfectly executed. The proportions were just right.
They serve hash browns, as any proper breakfast venue should. They also offer chunk potatoes, for those of you who mistakenly think they’re better.
Normally I don’t eat biscuits since they’re not exactly a healthy choice. But, my server was vibing that I should try them. So, I got one instead of toast or a pancake (the other 2 choices). They cut the biscuit in half and put it face down on the grill (other half missing in photo since I already ingested it into my internal test laboratory). I haven’t seen this treatment before. It was tastier than expected (and not overly butterified).
You can get egg whites, but I’m not sure why you would since most of the nutrition is in the yolk, and science now tells us that whole eggs improve satiation and do not increase the risk of heart disease.
Highly recommended, although you might want to go at an unpopular time since it was busy at 10 am on a Wednesday.
I have been coming here for quite some time and I am always very satisfied with my experience. If you are looking for old fashioned diner vibes with friendly staff and hot delicious food then look no further. Everything from pancakes to potatoes, you name it they have it for breakfast. I always get the omelette because it tastes just as good as the ones at the fancy places. The coffee is surprisingly good for a place like this. It’s bold and doesn’t feel watered down like at Dennys. It’s very obvious the owners take great pride in this restaurant because even the bathrooms were extra clean and tidy. This place is a hidden gem and honestly I never mind having to wait a few minutes to be seated because if this place is staying busy it means they will be sticking around for the long run. If you are visiting relatives or you are a local who hasn’t come in to try this place out, what are you waiting for? 5 stars all around. Makes every other diner in the area look like they aren’t even trying.
It’s technically seat-yourself, but don’t be surprised if—when it’s crowded—the waitress organizes seating based on who walked in first to keep things fair and moving smoothly.
Huge shout-out to Tina, who was absolutely amaze-balls. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely one of the best waitresses I’ve come across in a long time—service like hers makes the whole experience.
Breakfast was a solid 10/10, and the prices seriously feel like they’re straight out of 2010. Incredible value for the quality and portions. Highly recommend the tots—they’re a must-order.
Will definitely be back!
