I’m quite disappointed with the Pad Thai chicken I received with my takeaway order today.
Although it was included as a promotion for orders over $50, I still paid for my order and expected the dish to meet a normal standard. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was very bland and contained mostly noodles. There were only about 4–5 very small pieces of chicken and just a few tiny pieces of tofu.
I called the store to raise this concern and was told it might have happened because several portions were cooked at the same time. However, if multiple servings are prepared together, the restaurant should still ensure that the quality and standard of each dish are maintained.
Later, the staff called me back and said that if I order again next time, they will give me a free Pad Thai. Honestly, I feel this solution doesn’t really address the issue. I ordered today because I wanted to enjoy the meal today, not have to wait until my next order to receive what should have been prepared properly in the first place.
I’m not asking for something for free, but I believe the dish should still be prepared properly and consistently regardless of whether it is part of a promotion. I hope you can look into this and improve the quality control going forward.

Had a great experience at Doodee Paidang, Glen Waverley! One of the best Thai fried rice I’ve ever had — full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The ambience is fantastic and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout.
The chef’s special is an absolute must-try, and the crab dish was incredibly yummy. Parking is available nearby, but you might have a bit of trouble finding a spot during busy hours, so it’s a good idea to reserve a table in advance.
Overall, a wonderful Thai dining experience. Highly recommended! ✨

Went to Glen Waverly Dodee Paidang, Ordered the Dodee Lava and Soft boil rice with combi Pork. Slightly spicy but flavourful. Tom yum soup is alright maybe go with the creamy one instead. Atmosphere the place was great and they were quick with their service. Overall it is a good place to dine it.

I recently visited Dodee Paidang Glen Waverley and had an amazing Thai dining experience! The food was flavorful, authentic, and perfect for sharing.
We started with the crispy fried chicken wings – perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired with a tangy chili dipping sauce that really elevated the flavor.
The highlight was definitely the Tom Yum soup. It was rich, aromatic, and had just the right level of spice. The balance of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and fresh vegetables made it incredibly comforting.
The Tom Yum noodle soup was also packed with flavor, with a bold, tangy broth and crispy wonton pieces on top for added texture.
The Pad Thai was a classic done right – perfectly stir-fried noodles with tofu, bean sprouts, and crunchy peanuts on the side.
Finally, the red curry was creamy and fragrant, with tender pieces of meat in a luscious coconut milk base.
The service was quick and friendly, and while the plating was a bit casual, the taste absolutely made up for it.

Way too many table in the space, not compliant with disabled access. Food taste was ok, but it took them 40 minutes to serve it. When asked for more dressing, one girl told me to order and pay $3 at counter. When I did that, the girl at the counter told me to order it via the app. No staff there cares about customer service. Not the experience I want to have when dining out.

The taste of the food is very good. I loved it. But the portion is too small and the price is expensive. You still feel hungry despite ordering a few dishes. Those spring rolls cost $15 and the person who ordered was pissed by the quantity. The table is small and there is not much space for movement – It feels quite uncomfortable when eating with a small group of friends.

The taste is ok but the size is terrible. I bought a take away noodle. They only gave me like less than 200 mls of soup in an extremely small container. I couldn’t even see any soup after I mixed it with noodle. I expected the size if not more but should be at least same as what you could get dinning in. It is not a dry noodle. It is a soup noodle. Where’s the soup?
