It is always awesome to eat at an old drive in. The resteraunt was clean. The staff was super friendly. Parking was convenient. The burger I had was comparable to most similar style resteraunts I have eaten at. It was good. The side sald however was just chopped up iceberg lettuce with diced tomatoes only, not very appealing.

Such a cute little joint! My kids love stopping by during our road trips. Their chicken sandwich on Jalepeño sourdough is amazing and the staff make it the best experience.

My hubby and I stopped in on our way from Fort Worth to Bandera. So glad we stopped. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. It’s a cute little place. The food was delicious. I had the chili cheese dog with tots. The chili was amazing. The tots were crispy. My husband had a double meat cheese burger and fries. He said the burger was right up there with some of the best burgers he’s had. The fries were limp, but in that good homemade kind of way. It’s nice to have something a little different to stop at on our road trips.

My friend and I dined in this evening at Doc’s in De Leon. I had my service animal with me. Let me just start by saying the young girls who were working and waited on us were friendly, customer attentive, and service animal friendly. One of the girls even gave my baby a pup cup. They made my evening because I had just been basically denied service due to my service animal at a restaurant in Gorman. There was a dad and young son at Doc’s and the young boy was rude about my service animal. But I did ask one of the girls working and they told me it was not a problem bringing in my service animal. I appreciate you girls! Thank you! We will be dining in more regularly.

If I could give this place a lower rating, I would. The food was mediocre and wildly overpriced—not nearly as good as people hyped it up to be. And I’m honestly not sure how it passes inspection.
I sat at a table toward the back, near what looked like a small closet with a curtain drawn across it.
1. The decorations on the table had rat droppings on them.
2. The table itself was filthy—greasy, dusty, covered in crumbs, with dead bugs and other crud underneath it.
3. The smell was unbearable. It smelled like something dead was decomposing behind the curtain.
All in all, this place was a huge disappointment. Don’t waste your time or money here, folks.

What a treat!! Everything from Enter to Exit was perfect. The wait staff is on top of any menu question. The cooks care about every detail. The dining area is clean and decorated with hometown flair. The food is DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend and we will definitely visit often.

Traveling through and stopped here because of reviews, but were disappointed. While the burgers are large and had nice fresh bread and veggies, the meat patty was like a big block of meat with no flavor. Reminded us of the prepared, frozen patties that come from Costco that we don’t like because they are so dense. The tater tots were good, very crispy.
