Ordered takeaway while working at Baird. Got the chopped salad with Chicken. First issue was I asked for extra ranch and was told I’d be charged, when ordering online it is free. When I got the food back to Baird, they had forgotten the dressing ordered with the salad, I went back and the staff was rude, staring again I’d have to pay, even though they forgot.
Pictures show how horrible the salad was, tge best part was the added croutons I asked for Choose elsewhere in Milwaukee. Not worth the cost.

Had good reviews so stopped in. Got 2 meat platter for 28 Pork n Ribs. 1st the portions.were small. I was better of getting pork platter for 16 and adding 2 bones for 6. The extra 6 bucks got me 1 more rib. 2 for what I was given half of the pork was fat and the 3 bones I got must of been end as theybhad little meat and mostly fat. I left the pile of pork fat and inedible bone in front of me expecting her to.notice as I dont like to complain but did not work out. 3 the sauces were avg at best.
I may have had just a bad plate but man disappointment

The service was good. We ordered the Trucker snack which was very tasty and the Linz Angus Brisket with a mix of lean and fatty meat. For the sides we got Mac and cheese and the Bacardi baked beans. The brisket was tender and had a good Smokey flavor. The Bacardi baked beans were amazing. The wet noodles with some type of white sauce that they passed for Mac and cheese was a hard pass.

Wow really good BBQ spot in the heart of downtown Milwaukee and some terrific sauces. One of the best Brisket l’ve ever had it was so juicy and tender melts in your mouth…writing this review is making my mouth water as I type. The booze selection is out of this World it’s pretty impressive. We had great and friendly service very knowledgeable bartenders. 100% recommend!

There was a time when Doc’s was great, but no more. The bar doesn’t have the ingredients to make some drinks listed on their menu, and if they do, the bartender has no clue how to make them properly. Sent the horrible drink back that took forever to make. Switched to a malbec, only to be informed they were out of that too. After repeated efforts to get a drink, my companion’s food arrived, but still no drinks. As for the food, all 3 entrees arrived cold. Pork shoulder had almost no smoke to it. Out of towners, please, Milwaukee has so much more to offer. Do not eat or drink here.

I got the chicken and it was a very larger portion size. Probably a family of 4 could share. That I will say is good but it was not the best chicken and has a few chewy and gooey spots in it. The service was good but they didn’t do a great job filling our water or checking in With us.

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night, the place wasn’t too terribly busy. We were seated right away. The place has a great beer and whiskey list, and they also have THC drinks on tap. I appreciate when we ordered the brisket they asked if we would like it fattier or leaner, that was a really nice surprise. The rib tips were pretty good, I would have liked a little more char on them, but they still were tasty. It’s relatively expensive, not unexpected at a downtown hotel.

Great food and even greater service! Our table ordered a variety of things starting off with the Texas and Alabama fries and ended off with a variety of meats since we ordered the judging table and the three meat plate. The brisket was tender and juicy. Their special consisting of burnt ends is by far some of the best I have ever had. The wings included in the judging table meal were juicy with them being flash fried so the skin was crispy and extremely flavorful due to the seasonings they used. The hot links were so juicy with the most perfect snap. The appetizer fries were scrumptious with a very generous portion.
Now that I have a baby to consider, I am extremely pleased that they had a changing table in the women’s bathroom, which I never thought was a blessing until now. The place is huge, yet inviting, with both high top and low top tables for those with strollers and a bar for those without strollers. The staff was very welcoming and made the experience 100 times better. Doc’s is a great place and would definitely recommend it for anyone craving barbecue.

Worst ribs I’ve had in my life. Dry chewy and sub par flavor penetrated the meat. Shame on myself for not cooking at home! Flavorless Mac and cheese and I ordered dirty fries and didn’t get them. I got plain fries and was charged for dirty fries. Maybe I’m wrong for assuming I would get more than a plain fry. The ribs are filled with these glue like tubes I had this happen to me once from a horrible cut I’m not sure what it is. I will stick to what I know from now on. Only recommendations from my fellow moms who can cook, and cook WELL. This could be a one off fluke of a bad rack and a mistake from someone who bagged my order. It just ruined my night so I felt the need to share. In this economy paying for less than yummy food (nearly inedible) is a slap in the face.
