Such a welcoming and homely atmosphere. The bartenders are great and take pride in there job. The number 1 bartender in South Dakota works at Docs. I recommend this place to anyone just moving here or passing through.

Have been here many times over the years. Staff has always been nice. And as a woman I’ve never had a problem with being harassed by unwanted attention from anyone there, no matter how busy or slow it is. I like to play pool there a lot of times when I come to docs. They have nice spread out areas for that, with pool tables in different areas of the bar, plenty of tables and seating. There’s a large covered smoking area outside. This area is screened in to help alleviate bugs but there is also a section that is purely outside.

I’m definitely a craft cocktail guy, and this place doesn’t have them. But if you are going to drink at a bar in Watertown that doesn’t do craft cocktails, this is the place to do it. Great atmosphere, great people, lots of pool and darts, and for a non-cocktail bar they still have pretty decent, albeit limited, cocktails.

I guess it depends on who you go with… I went with an alcoholic who ruined it for me. The bartenders seemed to understand my plight and gave me an understanding smile. At one point I had to go up to get the alcoholic another drink (the bartender refused to serve him) and she knew, so she put just enough alcohol in so he could taste it and the rest was pop. It’s like going into one of those bars where you can give a signal to the bartender that your in trouble and they will help you. So the people working at Docs get a 5 stars for knowing the situation i was in. ❤

Small town bar vibe in a small town trying to be big. Bartenders know the basics AND MORE! Been there multiple times and only saw one fight that the bartenders immediately took care of. Lots of pool tables so there’s something to do while you pretend to have a connection with a friend.

My kind of place great staff good food n plenty space with pool tables darts juke box and eye appealing service with a selection of drinks an beers never seems to not surprise ya. You can show up for days straight leave for few years return and be treated like never left it’s one those bars that easily becomes “your bar” hahaha
