Doc’s is an independent Food Truck that offers Prescribed Comfort Food. Permanently located on the grounds of the Hospitality House at 600 N. B St. in Cripple Creek, Colorado. We are open year round. Serving a broad selection of breakfast and lunch choices to our friends, neighbors and out of town visitors. Limited dinner service during the summer months. This food truck is absolutely worth all the hype. Liz is so hospitable and welcoming. The quality of the food is top notch and the portions are generous. Made from scratch, and to order. Prices are fair and cheap, in my opinion. Thank you Liz for the outstanding customer service and delicious food. That green chili salsa had my soul singing! Dog friendly area and nice seating in the shade to eat your hot, tasty meal. A hidden little gem in Cripple Creek. We’ll be back for sure!

After reading about Docs and seeing 5 stars I definitely had to try it and skip the bars downtown. I was on day 18 of a 23 day motorcycle trip, tried several types of foods over the trip. Had the green Chile burger. It did not disappoint. I loved the outside tables and cool breeze. Such a relaxing and delicious lunch. I highly recommend stopping by, one of the best burgers in my 23 day trip. Well Done Docs!

We stopped in for breakfast, ordering burritos, biscuits and gravy, and the ultimate breakfast sandwich. Everything was very reasonably priced. We all enjoyed what we had, but the sandwich was the one we all want to go back and get again. Definitely get it with the pepper jelly, it makes the sandwich!
We had a great conversation with the friendly people working there while they cooked our breakfast. I’m pretty certain their enthusiasm makes the food taste better! They also provided a lot of tips on things to do in the area.
I can’t recommend this place enough. The people and the food are fantastic. It’s a must-visit!

Doc’s is a hidden gem in Cripple Creek! The food was amazing, the views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We were greeted with a warm smile and felt truly taken care of. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

My experience at Liz’s food truck was so wonderful! I was visiting Cripple Creek from out of town and wanted a comforting small town breakfast, and this place hit the mark! The bacon breakfast burrito with half green chile sauce and half sausage gravy was absolutely delicious, and be sure to request tator tots with her homemade sauces on the side! The food was fresh, hot, and made to order! Liz was also very welcoming, ensuring we were aware of all of the options on her menu and other activities going on in the area. I will absolutely be coming back to visit Liz when I come back to Cripple Creek! There is also a nice seating area next to the food truck that is great for sitting with your fur babies if you have them with.

When I lived here several years ago, I had a breakfast burrito here and it was very good. So, having moved back to the area, I went with a friend who was very excited to try it.
He ordered enchiladas which were served in a very unique style. I opted for the breakfast burrito, with sausage and bacon. I got it smothered in the green chile sauce, which, for me, was a mistake. I’m a lightweight when it comes to spicy food, and I should have asked to try it first. Haha. It was absolutely delicious, though very spicy.
I’m excited to go back and try more selections.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere cannot be beat! Outdoor dining at its finest. The air is clean (and very brisk the day we visited) and the area is beautiful, clean, and quiet. And there are plenty of trash cans to use to keep it clean. I love Mike & Rick, and met Liz that day. She is a beautiful ray of sunshine, and even gave us a cookie for dessert! A wonderful experience!

We have been coming back here for a few years every time we visit Cripple Creek. The owner Liz is good energy, and her food is just as good. Great dog friendly area to sit down and eat with amazing views. Of course we will be back next time we are in town!

I could feel the love and good energy that was obviously included when making this delicious food. It’s rare for me to come back to a place a 2nd time while on vacation but every person in my group was immediately talking about what we were gonna get the next day. Aside from the amazing food and being able to tour the Hospitality Hotel, vibe check meter is off the scale. 10 stars for the feel good vibes and genuine good energy from Liz putting all this tastiness together. Shoulda known she was from the same area as my group. I will be making special trips back to Cripple Creek for as long as Liz and Doc’s is there to feed my belly and soul. 1000% would recommend.

Colorado springs native been coming to cripple creek for over 20+ years regularly. Good food is hard to find up here and Docs has the perfect recipe. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was fire . Liz was amazing, prompt, and offered me extras with my B&G. Had a great conversation with the owner and I love their story. They cook for you like your family would and that’s rare nowadays. Stop on in and see what the hype is about I strongly recommend them. Thanks again for filling me up proper!!!
