When it comes to boiled or fried seafood, this place gets 5 stars. We tried the boiled shrimp and crawfish and they were seasoned perfectly. They were not too salty & had a kick, but not overly spicy. The shrimp were huge! We also tried the salad and sweet potato fries. The fries were really good. The salad was just a basic iceberg lettuce salad, but it was fresh. This isn’t a place with staff waiting on you. Get your food and then help yourself to what you need. Nice family place. Friendly staff. Great experience.

The seafood can’t get much fresher unless you buy it straight from the boat. The seasoning is great on everything but the fish which I think had none don’t get me wrong it was fresh hot and cooked perfectly but needed to be salted and peppered. Everything else was seasoned wonderfully and I loved having something diet to drink other than diet coke, thank you for giving me choices.

Food is actually quite good…if cooked all the way. The last two times I ordered I got nearly raw catfish though 🙁 and while some of the employees are really nice, the head lady…not so much. The most damaging thing though is the lack of cleanliness & hygiene -cuz on busy nights-they just don’t seem to care. Plus, the ambiance is kind of off-putting in a way, so when I do go there, i don’t dine in, but just prefer to do take out .

No frills eaterie. Order and pick up at the counter. Food was out fast and it was very good. Gumbo had enough bite and lots of flavor. Fried catfish strip was delicious. Not the place for a fancy dinner, but good food served quickly.

Omg amazing! The boiled crawfish is so good the boiled shrimp was a little tough to peel, the people that work there are really spectacular! Very friendly and keeps the lines moving! I work at a hotel here in picayune and people ask where they can get seafood I always recommended Dock Side! They always come back full and happy!
