We came here for my friend’s birthday and the food was incredible! I had the Pork Shank special and the meat just fell off the bone. It was absolutely delicious. Everyone cleared their plates. Our server, Charlotte, was great! The view was very pretty. Excellent evening.

Food could be better here. We have been traveling the last several weeks around the country, so getting to see a good spectrum of food. Swordfish was good, prime rib was ok, steamers were pretty bad, desserts were average (though big), and mixed drinks varied by night on quality. Porch is really nice, and the view is great.

Our wedding at Dockside was absolutely beautiful. The harbor looks so nice when you’re outdoors for the ceremony & cocktail hour, and the indoor reception was comfortable for our 120 guests. Our guests complimented the food and drink throughout the evening. Heather answered all of our questions leading up to our wedding, and come the day-of everything ran so smoothly — we were guided through the day, got everything we’d asked for, and didn’t have to worry about a thing.

We had the perfect wedding day at Dockside! I loved the venue at first sight, and Heather was so helpful with planning throughout the year. She was a calming presence throughout the busy day, and her team made everything run so smoothly. Our guests kept saying how beautiful everything was and really enjoyed themselves, especially since it was a majority of their first trips to Maine. I really appreciate how flexible the team was with us adding an extra hour to the reception since everyone wanted to keep the party going. The oceanside ceremony with the boats in the harbor and the intimate reception at the restaurant with a hopping dance floor made everything exactly as we hoped for our big day. I’ve photographed several weddings at the Dockside Restaurant on York Harbor and it’s always been a great experience! The staff is so accommodating and organized, which makes my job that much easier. The venue itself is beautiful! It’s such a gorgeous location to get married. I highly recommend the Dockside Restaurant for anyone looking for an amazing wedding venue. You won’t be disappointed!

When we visit York Harbor we try and eat at the Dockside. This trip, we ate there, stayed at the Quarters and ate on the Deck as well. Great place with great food (love the drunken lobster). The waiter was a bit quiet so hard to hear with the full room and service a touch slow. We used an app to book the dinner reservation but I failed to ask for a porch table so we were seated inside at a table by the window.

Had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our server Brittany was great, the place was packed and she always seemed to come back to the table at the right times. Dockside in my opinion has the best food York has to offer and if not the best, easily a top 3 view as well. We showed up early for our reservation and were still able to be seated and moved to an outside table. The prices are not the for the faint of heart but I believe in paying for quality, and that is what you get at Dockside. Definitely stopping in the next time we are up that way!
