We were on vacation and happened to drive by Dock’s Corner Tavern — so glad we decided to stop in! The place had a great selection of beers on tap, all fresh and perfectly poured. We were just looking for some casual bar food and ended up staying longer than expected thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and good vibes.
The gentleman behind the bar was fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and really knew how to take care of his guests. The place itself was clean and well-kept, with a comfortable, laid-back feel. Definitely one of those local spots that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want great drinks, tasty food, and solid service!

Went here in 2023 and last week. Both times the food was really good but I’m not used to a dive bar atmosphere. Me and my family of 4 went and we had a good time but there was too many drunk people dancing on the pool tables making a ruckus. They then started stripping in the parking lot which is something I definitely don’t wanna see . No table service and it’s hard to get the bartender attention also. Weird vibe but I would go back just for the food though.

5 stars! Docs Corner Tavern is a neighborhood classic. This place has that old-school charm that makes you feel at home instantly. The staff is amazing—super friendly and always on point. The beer and cocktails are great, and the food is solid whether you’re eating in or grabbing take-out. I come here with my coworker and bring my family, and every visit is consistently great. If you want a laid-back local bar with good people, great drinks, and tasty food, Docs Corner Tavern delivers every time!

Dock’s is a relic of a different era, and I mean that in the best possible way. Dock’s represents a simpler time, without cell phones and always being “connected” to the world. Dock’s is an amazing place to live in the moment: Play pool, eat delicious bar food, talk to strangers, and drink beer. Thank you for having such an amazing institution, I hope you never change!

Excellent service and food! Got a cheesesteak and a burger. Definitely try the docs special burger. You won’t be disappointed. They have some weird beers on tap but their mango beer was excellent and similar to blue Moon. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Found ourselves here on new years day as it was only place we could find that was open. Charming little bar with wood panel walls, ice cold beers and some of the best crispy bar pies I’ve ever had. Definitely a 5 out of 5.

It was like how a bar was back in the day. It is clean, the food was good, the service was good. They have multiple TV’s with sports. It is very casual atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Peace

Awesome home town bar! 2 pool tables, dart board, multiple TVs for sports watching & juke box is available. The prices are extremely reasonable. Food was good!! Pierogi’s w/grilled onions & sour cream were my favorite! Yumbles! The only disappointment was the wings, taste & flavor was perfect & hot, but no meat on the bones. We were just visiting, but the bartender seemed to know everyone who came in which was very cool. She was amazing, both grill master & server. I would definitely go back to this place next time we’re in town.

We visited one of my personal favorites Docks Corner Tavern this afternoon. I have been coming back to this historic dive bar for more than twenty years. Good eats, great suds and friendly service by the owner Bryce got us hooked since day one when I first came here with my dad so long ago. Definitely the best dive bar in NJ!
