My only complaint here was that every time the front door opened (which was often because ot was a popular place) we got a very cold breeze right over us. But honestly this place had great food, super friendly people. Pizza was excellent. We’re staying in nearby Lake City IA for a death in the family and this was a perfect place for the family to gather and be welcomed and have good food together.

We love Dockit Bar and Grill! It is wonderful that it is so very close to Cobblestone Inn! We have had to come and go from Arkansas to Storm Lake to tend to elderly parents and then their passing. It is just far enough from Storm Lake where we can have our privacy and it is so peaceful and quiet out on their patio. The salad bar is fantastic! I haven’t seen a variety of other salads, besides lettuce…for a long time! We love the walleye and grilled vegetables! Husband has allergies and they are very good at checking ingredients for us!! That means a lot! Other times we have sat up at the bar to unwind and everyone is always so friendly there! Highly recommend this place!

We tried a new place tonight. My wife had the grilled shrimp and it was great. I had the special which was Pollick and it was a little tough. The salad bar was great, I had a side of Redskin garlic mashed potatoes they were excellent. I didn’t save enough room for dessert. The service would have met almost anyone’s expectations.
I will eat there again. When I do I’ll try their burgers.

The food was just okay. The salad bar was pretty good, everyone seemed to enjoy the potato salad that was there. A couple of us got the prime rib sandwich, which is really just prime rib with some toast. The person who got the pork chops really liked it and it was a pretty big portion. To my surprise the baked potato was just fake butter and sour cream (no cheese or bacon which seems to be pretty standard at this point). We’d all probably go again, but I think most of us would try something different.

Had high hopes for this place based on the menu, prices, and crowd. Customer service was good and very attentive. Restaurant was very clean. My wine and cheese curds (so classy, lol) were delicious. Not pictured- patty melt and sweet potato fries. Patty melt was ok. Sweet potato fries were definitely undercooked. Dessert was the chocolate lava cake. It was dry, the bottom was hard as a rock, and there wasn’t any chocolate ganache inside. It was extremely hot so I assume that the chocolate syrup on the plate was the overly melted ganache. I’ve never heard of a lava cake that didn’t come with ice cream, nor did the menu give it as an option to add.
I won’t be in the area long, but I wouldn’t return if I were to be.

We had reservations. As I walked in with my 2 crutches, she proceeds to see us all the way over on the east wall of the bar. As far as basically from the salad bar as possible. It took forever for our waiter to take our order. The food arrived in decent time, and shortly after, our waiter asked how things were. Then he ran away again. It took forever for me to get a drink refill. Then it took forever to get our ticket. You can’t get table turnovers when you don’t actually wait on the tables.

My wife ordered hash browns with cheese. Came with a slice of what looked like Kraft cheese in the middle. Perfectly square and only covered middle of hash browns! Have never been served hash browns like that before! Unprofessional for serving it like that considering the prices they charge!

Beautiful restaurant.. very friendly staff .. thought it would be great experience. We waited over hour and half for just two burgers and French fries. The waitress came to our table once to ask us if we needed refills that’s after the hour and twenty minutes we were there and they weren’t even busy. Not trying to bash anyone but they would be a great place if waitresses were more attentive of there tables!! This was tuesday !!
