We were here in the off-season so getting a seat was easy but I bet it’s tough in the summertime because this place is awesome! A great variety of breakfast items and everything was served with a smile! Of course we had some of their world famous pancakes!

I made the mistake of going to Mikes and ordered scrambled eggs. They looked off – not properly scrambled – and they tasted of old fish oil. One bite- returned the food. I just assumed they would be able to make something edible. The sourdough toast and coffee were fine. The waiter was really nice. Hit or miss would be over-selling this place.

Food was alright, delicious, and average amount. Service was average. It took a little while for us to get our food, but we were a larger group. My main issue with the service was that our food was staggered coming out, 2 plates every 5 minutes. I was not impressed with the amount of food for the special, chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles was mediocre at best, especially as being advertised as a special. It consisted of 2 chicken strips with a Waffle House type waffles, not worth the 16 dollars. My son even found picnic ants crawling on the syrup that was brought with his food. The waitress quickly brought a different syrup, but nothing else was done. Even though the food was delicious, we will probably not be back, as there are other places to try.

Food was OK. Service was not. Waitress never came back for refills. We had nothing to drink half way through our meal Since it wasn’t busy and it was October we thought the service would be better. Too many options down the shore that we won’t go back. How can ANY restaurant this day and age not accept Credit Cards.

Prices are out of control here. They only serve water in plastic water bottles you pay $2 for. There are signs and rules everywhere, “due to cleanliness and safety we only use disposable cups.” I guess Dock Mike’s is the only safe and clean restaurant ever? They still use normal silverware and plates though, so? Our butter and syrup also came in plastic containers with lids… and they tried to upcharge us to “pure maple syrup” for an extra $3.50 each. Paid $15 for pancakes and scrambled eggs, more money than an entire carton and box of pancake mix together would cost. We were also the only ones in there and somehow sat a table with homefry crumbs on it. Service was fine, but we also got the feeling of inconveniencing them – we checked, they didn’t close for a few more hours, so it wasn’t that. I used to like this place. But we left here being baffled.

Ordered the chicken and waffle breakfast and as soon as I cut into it I knew something wasn’t right. I looked at the chicken and they are serving raw chicken! This is above and beyond a bad meal it’s extremely dangerous! No apologies from the manager just an embarrassed sever when I showed her. Safe to saw we will never visit this place again, and if you do, you better make sure your chicken isn’t raw!

Decent food, quick service. A little pricey and cash only.

Pancakes were dry and so was sausage. Not paying 3.50 for a tea bag either. 6.50 for a small glass of “fresh sqweezed” OJ my husband was nuts for paying that price.
