OMG! We LOVED Dock’s!!! We were welcomed from the moment we stepped inside! The food was amazing! I had the Caprese grilled cheese ~ the tastiest thing I’ve had in at least a year! So good! My husband had the fish and chips ~ also good. A special shout out to our waitress, Charlie ~ she was the best, so sweet ~ brought us a complimentary cheese cake dessert because we mentioned it was our first date anniversary!!! The views of the lake are beautiful! The restaurant and rest rooms were clean and well appointed.

We were here to celebrate a milestone birthday. The view is amazing. The staff was wonderful and accomodating, even though we had some hiccups during our dinner, they made it right. The food was tasty (we had added hot honey on our salmon and rice) lobster tots, lobster mac n cheese, saratoga chips (dipping sauce was delish) fried pickles come in spears (I’d prefer chips, but that’s just me) the blossom and saratoga sunset drinks were yummy. Definitely recommend.

I had the BLT in a custom made it for me with arugula instead of lettuce, I also added avocado. It was good. It came with fries and I asked for no salt and they were served just as I asked. All in all it was a great experience. It was a beautiful day. The scenery was amazing and Jen was a great server.

Finally, Some Good Food.

I’ve been having a string of super mediocre and mundane Friday dinners, not the way I like to celebrate the end of another work week, with even the more trustworthy locations failing to meet my expectations. Thankfully Dock Brown’s is here to change that.

Order over the phone going with the Baked Pretzel Sticks and the Grilled Caramelized Onion Chicken Sandwich, coming to a total of $38 and change before tip. I made no adjustments to the choices, sticking with the fries for the sandwich and both the queso cheese dip and spicy mustard for the pretzel sticks.

Pickup was easy, though the staff was slightly confused about payment. Their online ordering system was down, explained to me they turn it off over the weekend due to peek hours, but sometimes forget to turn it back on after. After paying for my meal I was on my way home.

It takes me about 30 minutes to get home, and I did have a stop along the way, but even still everything was nice and warm. I tried a bite of everything with the lingering heat to make sure I got the best flavor possible, and I was quite ecstatic. The sticks were lightly salted, slightly chewy, and paired so well with the queso cheese. The spicy mustard was a whole grain kind I don’t much enjoy, but the honey mustard I had with the fries was a whole different ballgame; sweet, mildly spicy, and so darn thick. The fries were nice and stiff, but not too oily or overdone, and had some hearty potato flavor. The sandwich was the big boss though, so I left it for last. A cross-section cut showed me it contained all listed ingredients, with some lovely layering. I was hesitant about that rather thick cut of tomato, a “fruit” I’m not too keen on in its whole or sliced form, but my bite changed my mine real quick like. Meaty, smokey, savory, sweet, and it all held together so well. Oh man, that was good.

Compliments to the chef.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dock Brown’s Restaurant, which boasts a wonderful atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. Our meal consisted of the Philly cheese, which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by crispy, freshly made fries. The picturesque view of Saratoga Lake added to our dining experience, and we appreciated the option to eat outside. The staff provided exceptional service, and the restaurant offers ample parking, as well as indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Absolutely fantastic!
Our beautiful children had their wedding in the tent followed by an amazing reception in the restaurant.
The staff went above and beyond to convert the beach bar tent into an intimate, lovely wedding venue. Including painting over beer signs the morning of the wedding!

The dining room became a cozy, warm inviting atmosphere for all attending.
The food was superb. The display of the past and carving stations were professional and delicious!

The dessert display was also beautiful.

The service was exceptional, each guest was approached, welcomed and taken the very best care of.

Michelle and Tina have excellent taste and created a beautiful atmosphere.

We would give Dock Browns 10 out of 5 stars!!!

We’ve driven by Dock Brown’s many times and finally had an chance to have dinner there. It was a nice night so we sat outside and had a nice view of the lake.. Tables were clean and server came almost as soon as we were seated. We had Quesadilla for an app and Fish Tacos and Black & Blue Burger for meals … everything was good. Server was friendly and attentive. We’ll stop in again.

Fish tacos were great! Lobster roll (not pictured) was average and not worth $34. Service was awesome! Wings were good too.

One of my favorite places to visit in the summer!
The view of the lake, the awesome service, and delicious food make this a place I want to return to again and again.
Also, if you are a fan of chicken sandwiches, they make one of the best I have ever had, and in 3 different versions (regular, hot honey, and buffalo).
Reservations highly recommended and obtained online.

Stopped in for lunch after my daughter’s regatta. Our food was delicious, even the vegetables were on point. I can’t remember ever enjoying vegetables this much in my life. The vibe was relaxing and fun. Dock Brown’s has atmosphere, music, and views. We will definitely put this place on our rotation.
