if you are in or near Chillicothe, OH then this is a must stop. The ambiance is warm and welcoming with plenty of seating and nice large screen TV with the latest sports. The staff from the owners to the chefs are very friendly and accommodating. They have a huge menu to choose from something for everyone here. Family and kid friendly. The food is made to order and authentic, home made recipes. had their perch sandwich with fresh coleslaw and the whale appetizer.

On feb. 27, 2026 my family and I went to The Dock. We were there for an hour and a half and never got our food! Waitress said they lost our order. We all drank 1 beverage within that hour and a half and never saw our waitress again until we flagged her down to tell her we never got our food. We were treated TERRIBLY when we told her we just wanted to leave. Never going back!

Main dishes were excellent. Had the dock burger, hanners homerun, and 10 wings. All were above par. We had sweet potato fries and seasoned broccoli. (Neither of which were very good.) Couldn’t even find or taste any seasoning on the broccoli. Waitress seemed to not care very much and we felt like she rushed us to leave. Not very friendly. Bathroom sink made me feel like my hands were dirtier after I washed them. Sat by window. Saw cobwebs in all the corners. Flies on the windows. Overall, kind of disappointing.

WOW! My 3rd time here and the wings are off the charts. Chloe the bartender was outstanding! Great place to just chill. Happy hour is always a plus here.

This is how I got my food besides picking the fish apart to find almost no fish, was 20 bucks for soggy fries and what I can assume is gold fish from pets mart was supposedly cod. Was never asked if I wanted something else. Was not asked how my food was and when I asked them to take it they didn’t say anything just throw it away and was rude when I said it was gross and the fry’s where soggy the cold slaw was water cabbage. This place was much better before they got bought.

I had the swiss cheeseburger w/ onion, mushroom and sweet potato fries. The cheeseburger was absolutely delicious and probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Definitely if your in the area, stop by.

Came in, set down. Waited 10 minutes got a Pepsi waited another 15 minutes nobody came back to take an order. Left money on the table and walked out. Wasn’t that busy. Not sure what the deal is. Went down the road to old canal, place was busy. Had orders took within 5 minutes of sitting down. That’s both drinks and entrees. Use to like the dock a lot but things seem to be turning down hill.
