We sat at the bar and ordered cocktails and shared the Botaois doce which is a sampler- a little bit of everything. The drinks are generous portions and the bartenders were friendly, the food came quickly. They have a pretty patio but a cold front came through, so next time.

We were invited to dinner by our Son and Daughter-in-law, also some friends. It was our first time and the queso dip with Brisket was so good. The Mole Enchiladas I ordered were delicious. My husband had their Red fish and the taste was awesome. Everyone else was pleased with their meal. Our Server Alejandro was so nice, courteous and very attentive. The Atmosphere was very nice. I will go back.

For starters, the salsas that come with the chips are amazing. The guacamole was perfectly right with the right amount of spices and lime.

The main dishes were very delicious. I had tried the Chico’s Pacifico as a light dish the first time I came and tried it again this time around, and once again, it was outstanding. It had the right flavor of lime, red and white onion, plus plenty of shrimp and fresh avocado. Super delightful.

Tried the Carne Tampiqueña for the first time, and the steak had amazing taste. Just the right amount of seasoning and at medium, it was soft and flavorful. I appreciated the enchilada. It does taste like a traditional mole, which I’m not a fan of, but my wife said it was amazing, especially with the queso fresco.

Also had the frozen margarita, and it was just right!!

The dishes were a little bit more than we would normally pay at a Mexican restaurant like those of Mi Cocina, but the taste was consistent, and everything we had we thoroughly enjoyed. Will be coming to this place again for sure!

Love this new addition to Doce Mesas group!
We typically go to the location on McKinney and Knox, but decided to take a chance and go to Walnut Hill.
We were greeted and warmly welcomed. Areas felt so fresh and well lit but a nice evening vibe with a nice large bar/island. We came for lunch but came wait to come back in the evening. The inside area is spacious but cant wait to try out the outside sitting area.
Food and drinks were delicious and consistent with what we get at the other location, which is amazing. The presentation is different but just a great.
Highly recommend trying out this new location for lunch or dinner!

I went there with my friends and I had an amazing time! The food was incredible and the service was just as great. Our server, I believe his name was Eric, checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. He definitely made our experience even better with how friendly and attentive he was. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Food was beautifully presented, and some of it was really good. But the rice and the beans were total afterthoughts – completely bland. And I am still having a hard time understanding how these Tex Mex places can charge $20 for enchilada combo plate $26 for chicken fajitas… I don’t pay that much in 4 or 5 star restaurants for a chicken entree…?

What an amazing find! I was visiting Dallas on a mini vacation. We stopped in and wow what an amazing menu. I had the beef brisket tacos, and they were exceptional. I definitely recommend you visit this place soon!

They took over the old Red Hot & Blue and most definitely upgraded to spot. They have a patio area that sits in front of giant stage/TV all with ‘set the mood’ lighting to create a chill vibe for whatever occasion. The decor is fine dining but the menu is actually very reasonable. The mgr gave the kids and I queso on the house to welcome us in for the first time. I was truly impressed with the entire experience!
