Lots to choose from, great beer selection. Leans toward a bar but for sure can be very comfortable for seniors and kids! Slighty darker inside (light-wise) for ambience.
Will definitely come back!!

A good friend of mine and I swung by after the Maumee Film Festival to end the evening. Its a good place to go to near uptown (especially if you don’t want to deal with the traffic/parking of uptown).
Ambiance reminded me of a bar near home, but this place was more delightful and spacious. They have a NICE pool table (free pool and Sundays and Mondays too!) The bartender who served us was good.
I ordered the Bourbon Pulled Pork (Under Doc Specialty). I was surprised to be honest, I didn’t expect the portion to be THIS big?! I had to use both hands- I used the fries to eat what dropped out. The sauce was better than the food truck we stopped at earlier in the day during intermission.
If you haven’t eaten much during the day and want something to pair well with a beer, this would be it!
Thank you Doc Watson’s!

Wow what a surprise… I’m just not sure what was the best part of this experience but really who takes a coleslaw Togo? 100% will be back. Mikayla’s service was so good. Lord Stanley’s Loin is a recommendation.

Doc Watson’s Restaurant was a gem! The vibe, service, and food were top-notch. I forgot to take photos. We highly recommend Kevin for his hospitality and personality. Try the DeCarlo Chicken Sandwich, the “Original” Cheeseburger, and the Lord Stanley’s Lion.

I’ve been going to Doc Watson’s for over 20 years with really no issues to report. I was there last weekend and ordered the Greek Delight burger. I ordered it medium and it came to me well done. I was there last night and ordered the smoked chicken wings, which happened to be on their “specials” menu. The wings were VERY over cooked!!! It was like eating shoe leather!! The waitress was able to give me $5 off our bill. It just seems that the food has been going downhill over the past few years. Doc’s used to be our “go to” restaurant. It is no longer our go to!

Do NOT order the chicken chunks. Nice atmosphere and service was good, even though their tap list was not up to date.
I am not exaggerating when I say the “chicken” chunks were the worst thing I’ve ever ordered at a restaurant. No sauce. 80% breading. Meat was disgusting and hard as a rock. They charge you over a dollar for a side of ranch on what was already an extremely dry, bland overpriced menu iteml. I choked down 4 or 5 of them only because I was starving and was otherwise wasting 100% of my $17. If you can’t cook little pieces of chicken, I don’t have enough confidence to come back and try something else. Disappointing.

Overall a great place to grab a drink and dinner. Great neighborhoods bar with friendly staff and a large menu. Drinks were great, I recommend the orange smash. Appetizers were the best part or the meal, I had poutine and pepper jack bites. Both were excellent.

Great beer selection for a place that is not a brewery. Captain jarhead burger is a great choice every time. Good atmosphere and bartenders
