Family day weekend I have to say they were on the ball. Food took a bit longer than usually but for the time you knew the staff were hustling. Very clean for a pub and the live music really hit the spot. My Beef Au Jus was pretty good average compared to any I’ve had but according to my kids, they had some next level mac and cheese.

The fact it’s connected to hotel and you don’t have leave is a huge win.

Thumbs up

Great pub to visit if you’re in the Niagara region. Food was good, service was spot on. Amazing amount of whisky available, and even bourbon still! Which I ordered

Last week four of us went to Doc’s on a Thursday night to celebrate a birthday and we had a delightful evening! The service was excellent, and the food plentiful and delicious. We were especially impressed with the appetizer platter which was plenty for four people! Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great experience staying at this hotel! The hotel itself was very clean, and the service throughout the whole building was excellent. For breakfast this weekend, Ally seated us right away and got our drinks to us quickly. She was super welcoming and friendly, which made us feel comfortable from the start. Angela was our waitress, and she was honestly the best we’ve ever had. She had such a positive attitude, kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and made the whole experience even better with her kindness and energy. We also came back for dinner on Saturday night to watch the live music, and it was amazing! Everything from the atmosphere to the service was fantastic. I would 100% come back and highly recommend staying here.

The Guinness was watered down compared to the Keg. Keg was a lot creamier and thicker. The fish and chips wasn’t very pleasant to look at as the oil was old. Old dirty oil makes for dark brown food! Your cook should know better than to use old oil. Don’t think I’ll be back even though I love Guinness and fish & chips!!
Well talked to Leo the manager told him about my issues and he gave us complimentary fish and chip. Everything was much better I uped my rating to a 5. The Guinness is still not as good as the Kef in St Catharines. Great staff!!Cheers

Big place with lots of tables, but was comfortable. Good drink selection and a big menu with lots to choose from. My husband had a burger he enjoyed and I had the fisherman’s pie which was fantastic. There was live music – great stage setup and the band was very good. Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at Best Western with my family for the weekend. We had dinner at the restaurant, and while our server was very kind, the food took an unusually long time to come out, especially considering there were no special menu items or high volume that evening.
The next morning, we returned for breakfast. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The host seemed visibly bothered when I asked a simple question and mentioned she would need to ask someone else. Shortly after, another staff member, possibly a manager, came out and was quite rude and dismissive in their tone and attitude.
Overall, the lack of professionalism and customer service was very off-putting. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant and would suggest families consider dining elsewhere.

Love the authentic vibe of this Irish pub — enhanced by the rich dark woods, from the tables to the cabinets housing ales and whiskeys. The staff were clearly experienced, which makes sense given this place is in Niagara Falls — a city that, in peak season, is overrun by tourists. I’m sure their hands are full during those times, so we were lucky to visit in the off-season.
The fish and chips were exactly what we were looking for — a lighter batter with meaty, flaky fish inside. And yes, without question, they bring both types of vinegar: white and, more importantly, malt — a must with proper fish and chips.
We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back. Saluti!
