In town for a cruise & the name caught my attention but the reviews reeled me in. Everything from the location, theme/decor, service & food were perfect! Hunter, our server, was excellent! Super friendly, prompt, gave great suggestions & was always checking back in on us. Our food came out exactly as ordered, fresh & hot. I loved the huckleberry lemonade! If I make it back to Galveston, Doc Holiday’s will be a dinner must! Thank you, Hunter for the amazing service!

I had a really enjoyable evening at Doc Holliday’s Roadhouse.
The food overall was good and the Bam Bam Shrimp was a highlight crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
I also loved the baked potato warm and fluffy!
The portion sizes were generous, so you won’t leave hungry.
The service was friendly, which added to the experience.
The only downside was a 30-40 minute wait since it was a busy Saturday night. But honestly, it was totally worth it once we got seated.
I’d give the food itself a solid 4 out of 5, but overall, I’m giving it 5 stars because the whole experience left me happy and satisfied!

The atmosphere at Doc Holliday’s in Galveston is a classic Texas saloon with boots and hats hanging from the ceiling. It feels a bit like a “wildlife cemetery” due to the many animal mounts on the walls; while I’m not personally a fan, I suppose it’s understandable for a steakhouse. Interestingly, the men’s restroom has a very cool design.
The prime rib was very tasty and came with abundant sides, while the BBQ ribs had good flavor but were a little bit dry. Be sure to try the Tiki Wheat, a local Galveston ale that is very refreshing. The staff is professional and does a great job.

I’m from Wimberley, Texas and my travel partner is from Chicago. We always meet in Galveston for vacations. Doc Holidays was new to us so we had to try it. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is off the charts. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. We were not that hungry but we had to try the place out so we just had soup. It was amazing. I’m sure we will be back next year

Such a cool place. The food was amaaaazing, the drinks were great, the place was really interesting and would take days to see all the memorbilia. The eggrolls were the best thing ever, and the Huckleberry drink was so delicious. My husband had a burger, tasted great, large portions. I can’t wait to go back for a margarita flight

This place was fantastic! Our server, Sarah, was an absolute gem! She was very sweet and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really amazing. Very themed. I loved it. The drinks were great, very tasty. The food serving sizes were enormous. We went in not being too hungry, just kinda snacky, so we thought we’d just order 3 appetizers to split. Holy cow! It was so much food! The pretzel pizza was delicious. I have absolutely no complaints. The location is wonderful, right across from the beach. Which is good, because we had to go walk off some of that meal. Parking was easy and plentiful. Even the bathrooms were really cute. I would definitely go back again… and again. It was, not only great food, but also a great experience. 10/10 for sure!

This place was amazing. Our waiter was high energy and went above and beyond to take good care of us. The food was amazing, we had everything from a pizza on the kids menu to the mahi mahi and everything was delicious! I know this may sound strange, but you HAVE to check out the restrooms, the art work in there is absolutely amazing! I am posting more photos of the restroom than the restaurant!! But the restaurant decorations were amazing too!

What a great place to eat, sit and socialize. The atmosphere is great with many pictures, signs to keep you entertained. We sat at the bar and ordered their Mahi Mahi and Shrimp with mashed potatoes and Brussels Sprouts and highly recommended this plate. We went twice and my wife and I were very pleased with the hospitality given by Chris and Dutch at the bar. Thank you for a great experience and a warm invitation. We will be back and will make this a stop everytime we come down to Galveston.

This place is amazing! The decor is fun, the patio is perfect facing the beach with the nicest breeze. We had the redneck egg rolls and they are awesome as everyone says. I also had a whiskey mojito that was so refreshing. Our server Hunter was friendly and attentive! Will definitely be back!

One of the best places in Galveston to enjoy great meat!

For my part, the pork ribs were delicious, tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sauce.

The dessert also deserves a special mention: the cheesecake was simply outstanding, easily one of the best I’ve ever had ♥️

The service was excellent. Unsure of what to order, we received great recommendations from a very kind and attentive server.

As for the atmosphere, it captures the true Texan spirit, with authentic set, full of local things.
