I ordered the Japanese Teriyaki Udon with Beef as the protein, and an order of Shanghai Dumplings. The dumplings were perfect. And the Udon was very flavorful. The beef was well marinated, very tender and the teriyaki sauce had a balanced flavor that was not overly sweet. The udon had a clean flavor, with a slight sear from the pan and the associated flavor. It was not overwhelming or overcooked like some other places.
I stopped in on a whim, and I was very impressed! I also really liked the outdoor seating. I will definitely be back!
During this same visit I overheard two different servers discussing what to do if a customer is upset. Basically the remedy is to completely ignore it because and I quote “if they leave a bad review on line it really doesn’t matter the owners really dont care”. As an owner how dose that make you feel when this is how you’re staff behaves? It kinda to bad too, I do enjoy the noodles but after this experience it won’t be any time soon I return and let’s see I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 18 years in July. What a shame.
They have an outside covered patio and inside seating available.
Friendly service.
Our host was Stephen/Steven and he was a great guy, very knowledgeable, very friendly and professional.
I ordered the General Chey’s with beef. It is beef strips, broccoli, onions, red peppers in a brown sweet/spicy sauce. It was pretty good, a little dry, could have used a thicker sauce maybe.
My wife had the Thai basil with chicken and noodles, that was really good.
We shared an order of vegetable spring rolls with sweet relish sauce, delicious.
Ample seating, plenty of on street parking, great location on Memorial Drive.
Highly recommend and will return.
