I love Doc B’s on Walton Street. It has that perfect upscale sports-bar vibe with a big, crowd-pleasing menu and super consistent food.
My forever favorite is the sweet potato chips with guacamole — honestly one of the best combos in the city. This visit, my friend and I both ordered salads (plus, of course, the guac). I got the Mediterranean shrimp salad, which is huge, hearty, and full of big, perfectly cooked shrimp. My friend chose the Quinoa Kitchen Salad with breaded chicken, and the chicken was incredibly fresh — great even on its own.
We usually make a reservation for dinner since it gets busy, but earlier in the day you can typically walk right in.

Nice atmosphere – not too loud but casual and welcoming. The food is fantastic. Thank you to our waiter Matias for the excellent recommendations. The Chimichurri wings were to die for, as were the Cherry Old Fashioned’s. The Filet Mignon sandwich was cooked perfectly and was flavorful and super tender and glad we got the jalapeño potato side. Loved the Wok Out bowl too. We will be back.

Delicious place! Took a look at the menu not realizing I was on the menu for River North and then went to the Gold Coast location. The River North location had truffle fries on the menu, the Gold Coast location, sadly, did not. Its okay though, totally my bad for reading the menu for another location.
Our server was Charlotte and she was nice, gave suggestions and chatted with us a bit.
Delicious place to dine and we would come back. Had the burger with sweet potatoe fries and the salmon wok bowl. Yum!

Doc B’s was the perfect place to grab dinner after a long day of walking around the city. The food was amazing! I had the salmon, and we shared a delicious salad. It felt like going over to your parents’ house for dinner: casual comfort food, but better. The service was excellent, and I loved the attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the Chimichurri Steak!

I visited on a weekday dinner. The food was good, price was reasonable, and the vive was great. Server was very friendly and food came out reasonably fast.
Chicken was very crispy and tender, chips and guac were also very tasty, and I loved salad although I wished that crispy chicken was same as the one I ordered from appetizer. Loved every bite of it.

We had a great dinner at Doc B’s! The customizable “Wok Out” bowl was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We went with the sweet and spicy Thai sauce, and it was to die for. Our server, Nicole, was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. The atmosphere was welcoming and lively without being too loud. There are lots of options on the menu for every taste and dietary preference, from burgers and fries to kale salads and tofu. Very good value for the quality of both food and service. Highly recommend!

Wow! This place is outstanding! Had the chicken club on a pretzel roll, sweet potato fries and the chicken teriyaki wok bowl. Overall the food is flavorful and fresh. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. You can tell the food was prepared with care and a sense of pride for what leaves the kitchen. Service was attentive. Overall, this was a great experience! We will come back.

Great food and drinks in the gold coast, within walking distance of Michigan Ave., Water Tower Place, John Hancock Center, and may other sites. The steak sandwich was delicious and cooked to perfection medium rare as requested. Loved the CrispyJalapeno Potatoes side. Unique and delicious. Nice outdoor seating as well.

This was an excellent dining experience all around. We enjoyed the guacamole, a delicious gluten free burger with sweet potato fries and the kale salad was fresh and crisp. The outside dining area is really cute.
