I wish I had remembered our waiters name, but he had a ponytail and gave us the best service we’ve had. The food was great and the ice cream was so good, we had to split the one we ordered because it was a lot. I definitely suggest going here, if you don’t want to go for dinner and just want ice cream. Go to D’Nicio’s Parlour. You will love it!

Our server Carys was the best! Sweet potato fries were to die for especially with the warm marshmallow and carmel dipping sauces!!! We didn’t take a picture of them when they arrived at the table due to shoving them in our mouths right away lol The chicago dog, gyro supreme, and Greek salad were awesome. Too full to participate in the amazing ice cream flavors but will be back just for that!!

This has to be our favorite stop in Kalamazoo. D’nicio’s is only a mile off the highway, and the food, service, and atmosphere make that mile a journey of anticipation. The ice cream alone can lift your spirits, but when you add the smiling face of your efficient server and the fun retro red and white decor, you get an all-around uplifting experience.

We visited today for the first time. We loved the throwback vibe and the menu, but the real standout of the day was our server, Rylan. From the second we walked in, he was attentive to every detail. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu items – even the ingredients in their homemade dressing. He hustled to keep every table in that place well serviced! He kept us informed on the status of our food, smiled when one of our party spilled a drink, and kept my husband’s coffee full. We’ll definitely go back to try some of the Greek lunch items and the dessert menu. Worth a visit!

D’nicio’s Parlour has a very unique retro diner styling unlike any other restaurant. It feels like you have travelled back in time as soon as you enter it.
Visited it recently first time since the start of pandemic and the dining experience is different
The Ice cream here is really good and that’s what we usually stop for. There is “Dare to be Great” Ice cream challenge with it’s own wall of fame. Seems like quite a few people attempted it but no one completed it.
The Root beer float is delicious and a great change from Ice cream . A good place to dine-in with family and friends.

Loved the retro diner feel. The food was great with a big selection. The ice cream menu was impressive too with all the ice cream parlour staples. We all enjoyed a good meal and desert for a good price. Can’t wait to take my mom there.

After eating food there (I had no other food that day at all), I got a pretty icky case of stomach virus symptoms. Not directly blaming them, but I’ll just say that more people need to practice good handwashing hygiene (including making sure to wear and frequently change gloves) and not sneeze or cough over food when preparing it. Again, not directly blaming anyone there.. just saying I got pretty sick after consuming.

Great atmosphere serving solid food. The throwback ice cream parlor decor was a nice touch. Nice mix of American diner and Greek food, the gyro was amazing. The ice cream was also great, generously proportioned. Would recommend for a visit.

This place is well worth finding! Everything about it is “top notch”! The decor, the ambiance, the music, the wait staff, the food, the cleanliness, all are excellent. They have Greek food that is delicious! They have lots of “regular” food, too, including scrumptious burgers and fries. Their helpings are huge. Their ice cream helpings will fill you up- come just for dessert if you want to! See my pictures for hours and menu items. Even more importantly, go to D’nicio’s yourself! You will enjoy yourself!
