I have been coming to this location for the last past 4 months and Zee and the rest of the staff have been simply amazing. My orders always complete and they’re always smiling with great customer service. I’m a Jersey girl and it was very difficult to find authentic Jamaican restaurant nearby my house near Gwinnett. Hands down this is the best tasting restaurant off of Stone Mountain Highway in Lilburn. Mind you there’s two locations but this one here gets my 5 stars rating each time!

It’s so many things wrong with my experience today I tried to give this place a second chance cause the food is good but today will be my last day, for one the Curry Goat was off today not sure if it’s a new chef or what but it wasn’t it today, then I ordered 2 Curry Goat both with white rice one ended up being rice and peas smh and the next thing is do you guys pick and choose when to take cards or cash because not everyone likes to have cash. Good I won’t be coming back because it’s not the first time they’ve messed up my order.

Zero in my book. I was excited when this restaurant first opened and even recommended it to several of my coworkers. The food is good, and I initially enjoyed supporting the business. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing due to the customer service.
The young lady at the counter has been consistently unfriendly and unprofessional during my last few visits. The first couple of times I overlooked it, but after experiencing the same attitude again, it has become frustrating.
While the food is good, there are other places with comparable options and much better service. Customer service is an important part of the dining experience, and unfortunately this has made me decide to take my business elsewhere.

Your customer service really sucks. I asked for containers to put ranch dressing in. Lady said no. I asked to purchase 2 and was still told no. It’s so crazy that dressing doesn’t come in containers, but instead, you want us to make our salads soggy. Adding convenience to customers would make a great gesture.

First 3-5 times going here the food was good. Since June of 2023. But today. Jan18, 2024 the food is garbage. This curry chicken is not the same as when I first stated coming last year. I drove 55mins to get the food. I’m so disappointed. I tip 5.00 for take out, and expect good hot food. I take a bit of the fried chicken I get in the car it was dry and it taste different. I’m not sure if they have new cooks or just gave me some old food. I don’t know I was happy at first, now I’m not sure. So disappointing.

Took my wife there, she is from Jamaica, and it hit perfectly. Had the oxtail and red pea soup with a ginger beer. I have the jerk chicken and rice and peas. The jerk sauce was phenomenal. Added some hard to get kitchen staples perfect spot.

Today I ordered chicken soup and it was absolutely disappointing. The broth was almost like a dark gravy looking color and too salty to taste. There were just bits and pieces and a piece of yam and tiny bits of potatoes. I couldn’t eat it. When this place first opened it was great!!!! That was around 2 years ago I came frequently. I think I came twice this year maybe this was my 3rd time and my last. The line was ridiculously long and I had to go ask for my soup which I had ordered over 15 minutes prior. I know Jamaican food and whoever you have making this soup today was not it at all. Not authentic Jamaican food. I’m American and I cook it better than this. Sorry but you also only had one person in front taking orders when there were ten people waiting in line to order and a gentleman that was there before me still waiting for his food. It’s not the same anymore and can definitely tell you have different cooks preparing the food and it’s not worth the money when you have to throw it away or doctor on your food. When I opened it at home I knew it wasn’t right by the color of the broth.Sorry D&M I must move on to much better food. My own! Tired of wasting my money on takeouts. Bring back grandmas cooking!!

We ordered here a few times during our stay in Atlanta. My husband is Jamaican and actually loved the food.
I think the food was OK. The first plate I ordered was jerk chicken. They did remember to add jerk gravy/sauce but as you can see in this pic there is no gravy so the food was dry.
I also ordered oxtail and it was really good.
Inside can really use a deep deep cleaning. The vents are black, not sure it dust or mold but they really need to address it.
Would I eat here again, yes but with specific instructions on how to prepare my food.

I love going to this restaurant because I’m never disappointed with my food. The food is really good and the staff is friendly and inviting. There is usually a little wait for your food, especially when it’s done to order. It is one of the best Jamaican restaurants available.
