Recently discovered this little gem and I’ve already been in several times! It’s a great shop for a cup of coffee, delicious breakfast sandwiches (the sausage is so good), muffins, and locally made goods including jewelry, candles, crochet goods, dog treats and more! Can’t wait to try other menu items. On the way in a gentleman told me he gets his dinner here most nights so it must be good.

Just what South Side needed for many years. DJ’s Market & Central is a local coffee, food, and small-town market run by some pretty cool folks. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff with delicious coffee, food, and other unique gifts for purchase. They’ve even carefully curated finished products from other local small-business purveyors with the goal of bringing them closer to your doorstep. Stopped by looking for lunch on our way through town and heading south to Reptiland. Sandwiches were perfect and muffins (three kinds – we sampled one of each) were tasty as could be. Also picked up local steaks to grill when we got home later that night. Thank you for making a quick stop such a delight!
