Floors were sticky and it was extremely hot with no air circulation. My brother ordered fried chicken and it was bloody. I saw the lady go back and put it in the same fryer and use the same tongs she used on the raw chicken. That’s cross contamination! Spoons used to stir food were all touching each other with food residue on them. For a place that stays open only 3 days out of the week, I won’t be back and I won’t be surprised if this place shuts down. 1/5. Disgusting!

I went by for take-out. We had the fried catfish filets. They were perfectly cooked & tasted great. The green beans & black eyed peas were good. This was our first time to order here. We definitely will be going back. Great service.

The food was hot and fresh the Catfish was awesome the fried chicken was also good can’t complain about the food at all. Only complaint is they need some sort of air circulation it was stuffy and the floors were sticky

Fantastic people and fresh homemade food, excellent take out establishment. Ignore the bad reviews like “no vegetarian options”… Try their veggie plate! Or the comment saying everything is “from a can or from a bag”… Literally everything is made from scratch… “Not enough seating” it’s a to go restaurant and “I waited 10 minutes”… This isn’t a place where they just pop it into a microwave… I feel bad for people like them. Definitely one of the best places in Rockmart!

Made a special trip to Rockmart after church in Cartersville yesterday just to try this place out after seeing ads on Facebook about their delicious country cooking. Got there right at 12 and there were about 6 people already in line. We stood there for 10 minutes, but the line never moved nor did anyone from the staff make any announcements about any sort of delay. On top of that, there were only 2 long tables and 2 small tables, so we would have had nowhere to sit if everyone ahead of us were dining in, so we left and went to eat at Las Palmas instead.

nice little place to eat.. very neat and clean.. i noticed the inspection score was 100.. the grilled chicken tenders were very good, up to par with chick-fil-a in my opinion.. the Thursday teriyaki chicken was also very good.. that’s all i had was the chicken but both tasted great to me.. i hope others enjoyed it as much as i did

Hush puppies Cole slaw catfish and shrimp are perfection!!! Even on the long drive home it all reheated well and was just as good as if I stayed to eat it there in the park in front of the restaurant. My small children even enjoyed every bit of it. ☺️ DJ’s is going to be very successful ☺️

My husband and I tried this place for the first time with our 10 year old son and we were not pleased at all. We did takeout. I’m the last person to leave any kind of review but the chicken was dry, the potato wedges were dry and the Coleslaw was soggy. I’ll probably wait a while before going here again.
