Bright, contemporary establishment serving classic dishes from Thailand in a vintage house.

The crispy tofu was not crispy at all. It was undercooked and soggy with the breaded parts peeling off. Also, the original pickup time was 11:04am, but the small order I put in was not ready until 11:30am. There was no apology for the long wait time. Terrible service, rude and careless.
The Interiors of the restaurant are in desperate need of an upgrade and it does not smell very sanitary. I really should have cancelled my order. I’m disgusted and I won’t be coming back.

First time eating here with my boyfriend and we loved it. Super clean, fast service and the food was amazing! I think this is such a cute place for date nights or lunches. A lot of people order take out but the inside is worth eating in. We had the order of pad kee mao, basil fried rice and pad Thai.

placed an order for 9:45pm. they called me and told me that they were closing at 9pm instead of 10pm and told me that it’ll either be ready at 9pm or cancel. i told him 9pm was fine. i arrived at 9pm and my order wasn’t ready. finally, after getting my order, i went home and saw that the calamari i ordered had a note on the box saying “out of calamari, replaced with fried shrimp”. i waited 10min inside of the store and no one bothered to tell me that they went ahead and replaced it for me? additionally, the food wasnt great and had little to no flavor. the replaced fried shrimp still had its shell on and poop vein intact. disgusting. i would avoid this place

I’d never been to Djan’s before, but reserved their upstairs private room for a 25 person surprise party. To be honest, I expected it to be ok, but I was far, far happier with everything. The staff was beyond nice and helpful (even though taking orders for a noisy crowd that size can’t be easy), the food was popular with everyone (although not especially spicy, so maybe don’t be afraid to ask for it hotter), the room was loud but really perfect for a low key private party, and I had to actually ask them to double check the bill because it seemed too inexpensive to be right. I would absolutely recommend their private room if you want a party, and I will definitely go back for a normal meal for the food.

The food is always delicious whether you eat in-house or takeout! Genuinely one of the best thai places around that I’ve tried and super underrated. Thank you!

The food here is decent but they are consistently late with their take out orders. Like really late. You place an order online and are given a time window. Then you get an email after the order doubling the time it will take. And then you go to pick it up and it is STILL not ready, despite the dine in area being completely empty. I swear they don’t start cooking it until you arrive – you can hear what’s going on in the kitchen and at least that’s what it sounds like…There’s no good reason it should take 45 minutes to get one order of pad khee mao.

Djan’s Dining Thai provides a lovely atmosphere for a date or quality time meal given the unique historical house setting, high quality food & great service. The food was flavorful, fresh, well-presented. The mango curry and red curry were exactly what we had hoped for! I look forward to returning to try more of their dishes.

This was by far the best Thai I’ve had in Seattle. The flavors were rich and distinct in each dish. The curry was particularly amazing; rich and creamy but not heavy in taste and texture.
Food was made fresh and you could tell from before the first bite that the chef knew their craft well. Highly recommend.
Location is nice. Converted house lends to a quant indoor dinner lounge. Nice patio area for sunny days: or dress warm, it’s Washington.

Really cute coverted residence I’ve driven by a bunch. Glad we stopped in. I wouldn’t recommend this place for any groups larger than 4, but for a date night or a small party, very cozy. It kind of feels like you’re in their living room.
Stand out for me was the roti. Super good.
Warning though: spicy means spicy! I ordered a 2 out of 5 and it was definitely a Thai 2 out of 5 and not a White 2 out of 5 (LOL). I usually like a tiny bit of heat but sadly my stupid tongue has never been able to handle real spice. My partner was extremely happy with the spice but I was somewhat melting. But despite dying to the spice, things were tasty! I’d like to come back and try things at a 1.

I don’t know what has changed in the kitchen but I’ve been disappointed the last two times I ordered so I will go somewhere else next time. Pad Thai tasted off, kind of like it was flavored with ketchup (weird, I know) and had literally only three pieces of chicken. I should have taken a photo. Sweet and sour chicken looked nothing like the photo on the menu and also had only a tiny amount of chicken in it, despite the fact that it was supposed to be a chicken dish. Wrong rice was sent, too.
