We’ve been looking for a good pizza place since moving here a few years ago. We heard amazing things about Dizzy Izzy’s pizza on some of the local Facebook groups and finally decided to try it. Hands down the best pizza we have had here! Delicious and cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back!

Side note, whatever was being smoked outside tonight smelled incredible. Can’t wait to try more things off the menu.

Dizzy Izzzy’s Does It Again!
Just had the chicken cheese hoagie with fries at Dizzy Izzzy in Williamsburg, and WOW—this meal was next-level delicious!

I don’t usually go for onions, but these were caramelized to perfection—sweet, savory, and totally worth it. And the fries? Crisp, golden, and still crunchy when I got home. You can taste the difference with the beef tallow frying and that flaky salt finish.

Pure magic.

While I was waiting, they offered me a sample of their collards with prosciutto—and let me tell you, that bite was packed with flavor. Southern comfort meets gourmet twist!

I’ve never had a meal here that disappointed. If you haven’t tried Dizzy Izzzy yet, do yourself a favor and go hungry!

Had the “The Discovery” smash burger and fries. Came out to be roughly $20 bucks, but the burger was very good and was on a nice soft fresh Keizer type roll (think I found my new burger joint?) The fries were crispy with like an extra crispy layer that made them better than normal fries in my opinion. As a note the fries are cooked in beef tallow, so hello taste buds!! The staff were super friendly especially the Cashier with the glasses! Notes: it’s take out only with a small dining area outside. Their menu looks and is basic, but I was told by staff other food offerings are updated on their Facebook page frequently. Will have to try the pizza next time I come in.

Been longing to try Dizzy Izzy’s by Foodatude and was not disappointed. Maybe the best sub in Williamsburg, and that is saying a lot! Meatball Parmigiana sub smelled so good that I tore into it before I left the parking lot. Robert works wonders in the kitchen and the Old Salt behind the counter will not disappoint you with his foodatude.

We stopped by and had a nice first visit! Tried the fries, Philly cheesesteak, and turkey hoagie — everything was solid and freshly made. Service was a bit slow, but totally understandable as they’re still figuring things out. I do wish there was indoor seating, especially for bad weather days. Looking forward to coming back soon to try the pizza. Hope they do well here!

I ordered the meatball parmigiana hoagie—something I’ve ordered before along with their sausage parm. But this time? Absolutely awful.

The bread was burnt, soggy, and noticeably smaller. It tasted and looked like a hot dog bun, not the usual ciabatta or Italian-style bread they previously used. The original bread was firm and held up to the sauce. This one fell apart and was a mess.

The meatballs were dry, overcooked, and clearly not fresh—tasted old and reheated. I asked them directly if they changed the bread, because it was obvious. They claimed it’s the same bread.

To top it off, I waited 40 minutes for this—and there were only two customers ahead of me. The fries were overly salted too. Total waste of time and money. Never again. I threw the whole meal in the trash.

So wanted to add an update to this review, I was blocked on FB by whomever is in charge of their site…blocked….why? The review below? I guess they don’t want the $60/wk business from me. We had the wings, a Philly cheesesteak and fries. The food was good, the wing seasoning was a bit over powering bit the value was the best anywhere. Huge wings and worth the price. The Philly was average, meat portion was questionable, bun was hard on the ends. The fries…..love the commitment to beef tallow, however frying crispy coated fries in it is pointless!!! I understand the desire to serve crispy fries since you are a takeout location and serve in compostable containers, however utilize a better fry, and adjust your prep time in the app by 2-3 min so the fries are the last item cooked. You could also go to paper cups for fries and move to paper bags instead of t-shirt bags so you can stand them up. A bit of a mixed message with sustainable, organic ingredients, compostable containers but giving plastic bags. Anyway, will be back to try different items and support this local business. Thanks

I don’t feel I can adequately express my delicious experience without expletives. Run. Eat there. Now. I’m sad that I’m full. We tried a lobster roll, reuben, and the combo pizza. It’s all amazing. I can’t pick a favorite. It’s slap your mama good. When they say it’s the best pastrami ever, it’s true. I will dream of this food until I can go again.

Restaurant review: Dizzy Izzy’s by FoodaTude

I stopped at Dizzy Izzys for the first time yesterday. I had been following them on facebook for a while and really liked what theyre about. The food looked great, the pricing was surprisingly good and the daily special menu options always got my attention. I ordered the philly cheesesteak, fries and a Mexican fanta orange. Side note: they have a great selection of soft drinks.

The chef and the server were both really friendly and sociable. My server told me at the register that my prder would take 10-15 minutes. I waited on the patio and she brought it out to me in five. First off, 9/10. The sub rolls are shipped from Philly and served warm and soft. They have a great chew. The cheesesteak itself is delicious. Tender chopped steak with rich, buttery cheese folded in that hit the spot during yesterdays cooler, drab weather. Paired with their flaky, crunchy fries(IYKYK) that they cook in beef tallow, it was comfort food I didnt know how much I needed. My cheesesteak, fries and a REAL orange fanta was $17. Im giving the food a 9/10 only because I hold a borderline unrealistic expectations for the size of a cheesesteak, even though I only ate half of the one I was served.

I left around 1:30 and the parking lot started getting full, fast. The secret seems to be out and Im late to the party but Dizzy Izzys really deserves the good review and I will most definitely be coming back soon.

By the way, I didnt post the pic of my cheesesteak only because my photos just didnt do it justice. Take it from a guy using a fake name on the internet, its worth getting.
