I visited here last Thursday. It’s a really good spot. Very nice, chill, homey. I just got a water….but there was this one drink (a red wine with pineapple juice) it tasted really good and sweet! The music is awesome. They have booths in there, it’s spacious. The only down thing for me is that there’s only one pool table in there. I wish there were more…but other than that, it’s really nice.

I went here on a first date.. I ordered a Long Island iced tea because they could not make me a Washington Apple. The Long Island iced tea was $17 it was way too strong II was way more buzzed than I would have liked on the 1st date after one drink.. The service was nice The bartender was excellent but but the drink too expensive too expensive and too strong. The Long Island did not taste like a normal Long Island it only tastes like alcohol and Orange juice.. They could have done better and better for $17. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t go again I just would not order another Long Island. I’ve had long island ice tea before that 1 just was not that good.

HORRIBLE if ur not a cigarette smoker like myself. I was under the impression that cigarette smoking was banned in Pennsylvania bars. Walked in the door an was hit EXTREMELY hard with cigarette smoke which made me turn around IMMEDIATELY. Bar maid was HORRIBLE as well. Long story short STAY OUT OF THERE!!!!!

Dixon’s is one of those neighborhood bars where hard working folks come together to chill after work or grab a drink before or after going out. Hopefully Covid will not destroy these little neighborhood gems.

I went in for a last min, pre-last call 6 pk. It was dark, divey. Cool chill peeps…it was a weeknight at 145am, so not sure if it’s more lively on the weekends!
