If you love good food, friendly people, ’50’s diner atmosphere/music this is the place to be. Absolutely loved it!
I had a fantastic cream cheese jalapeño burger and the hubs had tender yummy pork dinner.
Its just across the parking lot of the hotel we stayed at so it was quite convenient.

Wow! This was soo good! We’ve been meaning to try Dixie’s for a while now and I’m upset I didn’t sooner! I got the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and it blew me away! Quite possibly the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. My girlfriend got the Garlic Mushroom Burger and said it was fantastic! The fries were an 11/10 too! Service was top notch and the food came out fast! We’ll be coming back for sure. This was a smash hit!

Great place for a pit-stop on a long drive. Friendly service, great prices, quick service and a juke box at every table!

My husband and daughter both ordered burgers and loved them. Messy, juicy and packed with flavor.

I had the meatloaf which was fine but nothing special. The gravy helped!

We stopped by for breakfast as we drove through. This has quickly become one of our favorite diners. Everything you would expect from a 1950’s themed diner, including a jukebox. The “Idaho” omelette was delicious, the pancakes were fluffy and huge, and the orange juice was really good (not the poorly flavored concentrate). Lots of fun nostalgic decor made this place a delight. Clean, friendly, and good service. Nicely done! Will remember this place.

Went for the first time today with my husband. We were seated immediately and the server was very nice and attentive. Very large menu and plenty of options from salads to burgers all sounding very good. My husband ordered the aloha burger that came with grilled pineapple and teriyaki sauce on the burger with lettuce tomato and onion, he described it as interesting yet delicious. I personally ordered the gyro burger that came with gyro meat, Tzatziki sauce as well as the lettuce, tomato and onion on the burger which I believe tasted delicious. Very filling. The only downside were the fries, never been a fan of frozen fries but everything else tasted amazing and the server was awesome. Will definitely go again.

The veggie omelet could’ve been prepared better. It was basically a raw veggie omelet with over cooked eggs. Asked for sour cream and guacamole but never received it in the bag. The price paid didn’t reflect the menu price on the website. Damage was already done.

We wre told by another in rexburg to visit this place as the food was great. We were NOT disapointed. Large portions at great prices. Busy with many locals. It shows why.

Wasn’t very good. The vegetables taste like they were de thawed from a frozen bag the corn straight out of a can and cold. The fries sucked the food was not good at all. The server nice but that doesn’t make up for the over priced frozen thawed out food. Just massively disappointed because the place looked cool. The cooks clearly need to be trained better or get someone that can cook. It was so bad we ended up taking it home and throwing it away. $70 waste of money McDonalds would have been better. Probably not ever going back there are way better places to eat, that are not over priced for what you get. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. Seriously the food was disgusting the cook does not care at all clearly.

My wife and I read the reviews about this place and looked at the overwhelming amount of people that had a great experience. So, we needed to have an experience here as well.

When entering the restraunt, an employee greeted us at the door and seated us promptly (we were eating on Monday at 5:40pm).

The restraunt had a good mixture of customers from young teens to senior citizens. The place was busy but not packed on this day and at that time.

Our waitress was a lady named “Kim S.” and she was professional from start to finish. She checked on us and provided refills and answered our questions about the menu.

The pricing was fair and each table had a message from the owner explaining about price increases and why. I would not say they are overpriced and I would not say they are cheap. They are fair pricing and the food was worth every penny.

Atmosphere: The noise level was not loud, just normal customers chatting and staff communicating with each other. I even saw staff turn off a juke box at a table that was no longer being used. As for the jukebox, it has a switch so a person on one side can hear the music or a person on the other side or it can be turned off. The music was placed at a volume level so I could enjoy it and my wife could hear it at a lower level.

Food: My wife had a burger (Guacamole I believe) and I had the open faced chili burger. Both tasted VERY good and a heaping amount of fries was given. We also enjoyed two shakes and they were delicious

Yes, we would come back to “Dixie’s Diner” because it was everything the masses of people said it was. A very good experience.

We are a couple passing through to enjoy other sights and experiences on our vacation and this place was awesome. Thank you!
