I am reaching out to express my disappointment with my recent experience. I ordered a salad that contained a bug, and when I called to responsibly notify the store, I was spoken to rudely and treated as though I had put it there myself. I was then told “there’s nothing that can be done,” which is completely unacceptable.
As a paying customer, I expect basic respect, accountability, and proper food safety standards. I wanted to give the establishment the opportunity to address the issue professionally, but instead I was met with disrespect.
I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

Feb 13. 2026 I will say this. Im from New Orleans, LA and I went to Batesville for Valentines Day took my date to the bank before 10a I saw Dixieland BarBque… I was like I have to try it my mouth was watering for BBQ. Soon they open i was the first I believe, I took a nap it was a long drive, but I order the Family… I got the Slab, Baked Beans, and Coleslaw. The rib was hot off the grilled. Told me to be extra careful. Its was some good. I had saved some to take back to New Orleans. I tell you I put them in a toaster oven… omg it was off da chain, but I shared with my 87 y/o dad he saving it for the next day. I may go and eat his up…..lol. Ya keep up the great works. I know me some BBQ, da sauce was off da chain, meaning great !!! If I get back that way I want 150. 00 slab to take back. Go get it hot off da grill at 10a you won’t be sorry. I went inside and she greeted me and said when i was ready to order let her know, no rush she said. I had no problem there its was my very first time. God blessed ya all !!

Great location due to the distance from the highway. I ordered two combo plates to give a try. Brisket ribs chicken and sausage have only the taste of bbq sauce. Disappointment in the overall flavor and the lack of bar b q. All items lack the traditional meaning of smoked or cooked bbq.

I ordered food last at Dixieland Bar-B-Q. A Loaded Potato and Rib Plate. I sprinkled black pepper on it and . As I looked closely I spotted a piece of BLACK HAIR . And I know it’s not mines because My hair is RED. I picked up the phone and told the lady that answered the phone. She told me u have to bring it back. I’m ma’am I’ve worked 10 hours and I don’t feel like bringing it back and I have pics. She said what do u want me to do. I said ma’am u are so rude. I don’t want u to do anything and I don’t want you to remake me nothing I will be there tomorrow to show u . Ok so I went back today when I got work and asked to speak to the Manager she didn’t want to see me. She sent the nasty rude lady that took my order and she told me she didn’t want to see any pictures. DIXIELAND you are Nasty because I found hair in my food. NEVER again will I eat here nor recommend you to anyone. Get a New Recipe for those NASTY BAKED BEANS and Those DRY OVER COOKED RIBS and buy y’all some NEW ATTITUDES

Ordered BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Ordered at their drive thru window yesterday. First time going there. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building. Husband loved their BBQ pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. The coleslaw was cut nice and in small pieces. It paired well with the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The BBQ sauce was sweet and delicious. I’m certain we’ll be returning there!!!

A tad bit pricey but I really have to say you get what you pay for. The ribs in the brisket were so delicious and tender! The line was wrapped around the building so we ended up waiting a good 30 to 45 minutes but considering it was 5:30 and everybody had just headed out for dinner you can kind of understand the long wait. It would have been nicer if the few of us that wanted to could have actually went inside to pick up our orders. I know that they’re opening up a new place down the road so I’m sure it will improve once they get to the new location. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back!

I am staying at the Hampton Inn down the street and was looking for a good local place to eat at. Dixieland fit the bill and had really good reviews. I was not disappointed. Some have mentioned a wait, but that appears to be because they are plating the food fresh. I loved that as I drove around to the drive thru window I got to go past the smoker and it smelled amazing. I got the combo platter with sausage, pork, beans, and potato salad. The meats were excellent and I preferred the sausage without the provided sauce which they put on the side. The potato salad was great, but the beans had slightly heavy onion flavor. I will make this a regular stop for me when I visit my customer here.

Cannot review as the restaurant closes at 7pm, not 8pm as the listing states. However I did capture a side view picture of the menu. Amanda at our Hampton Inn gave it a raving review. Mostly drive up or walk upwuth a few outdoor picnic tables…. … We arrived at 6:50 but the walkup was closed already. The drive through had 4 cars ahead of us, and the woman at the door said they were closed and could not promise we would get served. We chose to go across the parking lot to the Mariachi restaurant.

I drove from Senatobia to Batesville to get several baked potatoes. We eat there at least once a month. I order 3 foghorn leghorn (chicken) potatoes w/o bar-b-que and bacon. One add onion/chives.. I was first told that I couldn’t buy extra sour cream because it was for the other customers. Then I got screamed at because I didn’t understand/hear what she had said. Well, we went to the trail park to eat and one of the baked potatoes had burned meat on it. I decided to eat half of one of the other ones because it was fine. I started getting a headache, not knowing at the time it was pork instead of chicken. Well I went back to purchase another one w/chicken and I mentioned about the burned meat and I was told that it look like that because it was cold, but it wasn’t cold. That when I found out that they where pork instead of chicken. My Mama and I have high blood pressure, so therefore we don’t eat NO pork. And my fiancée don’t eat pork either. So, I told them about it was the wrong potatoes and that I had already eaten half of one and I have high blood pressure. I then was told to come in, to not hold up the drive thru line. I proceeded in to only get told that I will have to pay for new potatoes and their will be no refunds and no remakes. I mentioned about losing customers, etc. and the owner could care less. She said that she doesn’t have to listen to this and I left. Very BAD business and she will never get a penny from my family and I ever again.
