Stopped in for dinner and so glad I passed by earlier and saved it! Sliced brisket was amazing!!!! Ribs fell apart and so flavorful! Mac and cheese was out of this world and do yourself a favor and get the corn bread!! All outdoor seating which was awesome and the staff was so friendly!! Horrible!!!!!!!! Just from the drives pass I always wanted to eat at Dixie Pig! However, wow!!!! What a nightmare. It started off with the service, I waited at the window for nearly 5 mins if not more with no other customers waiting. Once the cashier/lady approached me there was NO greeting it was only what do you need.
I got my order and it SMELLED good only to get home and trashed the entire order. I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog.

Very disappointed in my order and money spent for spending close to $70 today. Bad presentation and quality along with selection thrown into my plate. The pictures resemble dog scraps that were given to me (untouched/unedited pictures). I called to see why and if the issue would be rectified to correct the order but no assistance or adequate customer service nor customer retention was given. Wasted a trip in the rain for food that should’ve been fed to Scooby-Doo, but honestly even a cartoon dog has eaten better than this. This was my Third visit here…. So three strikes you’re out!!!!

This is just dam good barbecue! Food is cooked to order, so you may wait for a little bit, but never long. Please try the brisket and mac & cheese sandwich. You’ll order another if you have room in your stomach. The atmosphere is just as a barbecue place should be, no-frills with shady places to sit down with your drink and hot tasty ribs or sandwiches. If you’re in Oakland Park, give it a try.

Been here a few times over the past 10 years while having work done on my truck. Truth be told, it was always decent. Had tire work done last week and stopped in again and was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the bbq. Kudos to the new ownership, everything was delicious.

DISGUSTING!!! The black-eyed peas looked like dogfood and can only guess that dogfood probably tastes better. The cornbread was small, stale and flavorless, ~ I actually spit it out. Ordered steak fries and received soggy, french-cut fries. Ribs were tough & dry. I would have fed the entire meal to my dogs, but I love my dogs too much. Also, the 1/2 rack meal has gone up $5 while the quality is severely below par. I will never eat here again.

Super chill small town vibes. Suzy was an amazing hostess and since it was my first time here she pointed out a couple of specials and I went with the rib-tip that comes with 1 side, a drink, and a piece of cornbread!
