It was our first time dining here, and also first time tasting African food. The place was small, informal, and cozy. The people there were very friendly and took the time to give us recommendations. We had jollof rice with goat (The rice was seasoned with a mild spicy flavor. We eat a lot of lamb at home but not goat. To me the meat tasted leaner and with a special flavor that lamb doesn’t have.), fried rice with fried chicken (The fried rice was very good with a soy sauce flavor; the fried chicken was very good too.), and fried African yam chips with fried fish (It was great, to me it was like fried flour-coated taro sticks and I love taro.) All were big portions. The first two dishes were served with salad. It came down to just under $20 each. Once we placed the order we were told it would take 25min+ for the food to be cooked. It was indeed that which felt a bit long. Would like to be back and try a few other things on the menu.

Food took a minute but it was piping hot when presented. Nice afro/caribbean style music playing at an acceptable level. Everything was great from the plantains, “red red” jollof rice and chicken. Will certainly go back. Staff was pleasant and efficient

For the most part a good food experience. I wouldn’t get the turkey tails again because they’re cooked a little too hard so there wasn’t much meat but everything else is great especially the Banku & Tilapia. A little on the pricey side even for the sides but everything tastes pretty good & seasoned well.

I am writing to share feedback about my recent order on September 25, 2025. I ordered waakye with goat meat for $20 and drove 20 minutes to pick it up. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
The meal looked as though it had been left over from the previous night, the goat meat was burnt, and the rice was watery and unappetizing. I have dined at your restaurant before and enjoyed the food, so this experience was unexpected. Sadly, I could not eat the meal and ended up discarding it, which felt like a waste of both my time and money.
I hope you can look into this matter to ensure that the quality of your food remains consistent for all customers.

Outstanding food!!! The jerk chicken is the best I have ever had. I even ordered some to go after taking the first bite! The oxtail was cooked absolutely perfect falling off the bone and incredibly juicy. I am a fan! I will be back with friends. You will not be disappointed. Support this local, small business! I was so impressed I even purchased some home made natural body fragrance. I chose the Tuscan Leather but the Musks also smelled good. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! Bring your friends!!!
